    Crew Chief

    Description

    • Oversee line maintenance is being carried out With regards to quality and efficiency;
    • Conduct routine inspections for the quality of the technical maintenance;
    • Provide on the job training to the Technical Team (Technicians);
    • Provide guidance with regards to fault finding and rectification;
    • Provide guidance and knowledge on the maintenance of the applicable aircraft during the maintenance contract;
    • Oversee A-checks as well as weekly service checks;
    • Monitor the quality of the work being performed;
    • Monitor the status of the ageing progress;
    • Oversee, review, and approve all required paperwork to ensure compliance with quality inspection standards;
    • Monitor and manage shift rostering to ensure an optimal balance between available manpower and workload requirements;
    • Ground runs;
    • Supervise the team and report on the team's performance;
    • Act as a resource, coach and mentor;
    • Set team goals in order to meet the overall' business need;
    • Motivate, organise and encourage teamwork within the team to ensure productivity;
    • Assist the team with finding solutions to complex work;
    • Identify and remove barriers that reduce efficiency or effectiveness;
    • Foster an optimal working environment that recognises and rewards success;
    • Manage Employee relations and personnel functions (i.e. leave);
    • Be part of the recruitment and training of staff by ensuring that Re-Current Training and OTJ training takes place;

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or Equivalent (Essential);
    • Licensed AME with a SACAA A & C License on B737 -400 and 800 (Essential);
    • Minimum of 15 years' aviation experience (Essential);
    • SVM experience (Essential);
    • Previous experience working on B737 — 400 and -800 experience (Essential);
    • 3 years; Ground runs CFM56-3C1/7B (Advantageous);
    • Previous people management experience (Advantageous);
    • Good understanding of the Mechanical Schematic systems;
    • Excellent knowledge and troubleshooting experience on B737/400/800;
    • Full Ground run competency CFM56-3C1/7B;
    • Sound understanding of technical aircraft publications and documentation;
    • Good understanding of aviation regulations and safety standards;
    • Knowledge of Shift rostering (Advantageous);
    • Willingness to work shifts, weekends and on public holidays;
    • Must be available and willing to travel at short notice, both locally and internationally;
    • Valid South-African passport holder;
    • Must be willing to perform relief duty at another station as and when required;
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook, PowerPoint).

    Administrative Assistant (Roaming)

    Description

    • Provide administrative assistance for various departments in need of assistance;
    • Quickly familiarize with the workflows, policies, and requirements of each assigned department;
    • Provide administrative support, including data entry, scheduling, correspondence, and record management;

    Receiving Inspector

    Description

    • Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt;
    • Unload packages from incoming trucks;
    • Use dollies, forklifts, and other moving equipment to transport shipments from the loading dock;
    • Check the shipping invoice to ensure all items are accounted for;
    • Open boxes and inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged;
    • Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.);
    • Maintain accurate records and assist with inventory control;
    • Contact procurement or shipper if a mistake is identified;
    • Work closely with the management team and Quality Assurance to resolve any queries or uncertainties;
    • Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements;
    • Package products for return to vendors and complete any necessary paperwork;
    • Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place;
    • Ensure invoices are signed and paid for when deliveries were satisfactory;
    • Store, restock, and shelf delivery items as necessary;
    • Track and report on all received spares daily;
    • Work with internal stakeholders to resolve any problems;
    • Conduct daily stock checks on all items reflecting "received" on SAM;
    • Update stock on the SAM system;
    • Monitor tooling in the receiving area;
    • Ensure that the receiving area is clean and organized;
    • Process transfers for shipments moving on to another location;
    • Ensure all items are received correctly and were not damaged during the shipping process;
    • Communicate with other departments within the company to ensure that shipments are delivered on time;
    • Ensure the receiving area is audit ready at any given time.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential);
    • Warehouse Training certification (Advantageous);
    • Dangerous goods and Aircraft spares packing certifications (Advantageous);
    • 3-5 years warehousing or receiving experience in a mid-size organisation (Essential);
    • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) (Essential);
    • Knowledge of Dangerous Goods regulations;
    • Relevant AMO standards;
    • Experience operating forklifts (Beneficial);
    • Experience working with SAM AMO system (Advantageous);
    • Forklift license (Beneficial);
    • Willing to work overtime as and when required;
    • Written and verbal communication skills;
    • Interpersonal skills;
    • Problem solving and decision-making;
    • Recording and basic mathematic abilities.

    Creditors Controller

    Description

    • Take control over the full value of creditors listing;
    • Maintain creditors ageing days;
    • Provide support to the Creditors Clerks;
    • Checking daily recons of payment to suppliers;
    • Work closely with Logistics department and suppliers;
    • Provide auditors with information required for year-end audit.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or equivalent;
    • A Diploma/Certificate in Finance (Advantageous);
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Creditors role or similar (Essential);
    • 1 year Supervisory experience (Essential);
    • Experience in an accounting software package (Advantageous);
    • Willingness to work overtime as and when required;
    • Advance knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable;
    • Deadline driven;
    • Excellent attention to detail;
    • Good communication skills (both verbal & written);

    Administrative Assistant: Legal

    Description

    • General administrative duties;
    • Maintain appropriate filing systems;
    • Maintain accurate records and continuously update document expiry dates;
    • Issue contract expiry notifications to relevant departments;
    • Collate information and supporting documents for vendor / credit applications as well as Air Services License amendment applications;
    • Assist in the processing of non-aviation insurance claims: lost / damaged company property, motor accidents, group personal accident and travel insurance claims;
    • Assist in compiling aviation-related insurance claims;
    • Administer the company’s non-aviation insurance renewal.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential);
    • Minimum of 1 year administration experience in a mid-size organisation (Essential);
    • Willingness to work extended hours (including weekends) as and when required;
    • Willing to travel as and when required;
    • Valid South Africa Passport.

    Training Administrator

    Description

    • Complete SACAA documentation;
    • Ensure that documents are initialled and signed in line with requirements;
    • Check SACAA submission packs and alert the relevant stakeholders of necessary corrections;
    • Scan and save documents;
    • Submit documents to SACAA;
    • Track submissions and update the submissions spreadsheet and KPI list;
    • Maintain the submission filing system;
    • Inform SACAA of urgent collections;
    • Follow up on the status of license collections;
    • Collect licenses from SACAA’s offices;
    • Ensure all information in licenses is correct;
    • Capture details for all licenses that were collected;
    • Prepare licenses for distribution;
    • Distribute licences and ensure that confirmation of receipt is received and filed;
    • Dispose of documents in line with SOPs;
    • Maintain the filing system and ensure that it is user-friendly;
    • Process and prepare correspondence, or other documents as and when requested;
    • Collect, sort, distribute, or prepare mail, messages, and deliveries;
    • Compile and distribute minutes and reports when required;
    • Schedule appointments and meetings where required;
    • Obtain sign-off on invoices and submit invoices to finance for payment.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential);
    • 1 – 2 years administration experience (Essential);
    • Experience in the aviation industry (Desirable);
    • Valid driver’s license.
