    Sales Manager Renewables

    You as a Sales Manager – Renewables will be part of Power Grids business based in Modderfontein, South Africa and will be reporting to Local Sales and Marketing Manager, Power Grids.
    You are responsible for Planning and ensure execution of Division, Business Unit or Product Group sales strategy for the power renewables segment, including solar PV, wind, and energy storage, to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for products, systems and/or services in a profitable way. Responsible for leading and developing and coaching the Sales organization proactively, to exceed the sales targets through high performance in order to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

    Your responsibilities

    • Sales strategy: - Creates, plans, and implements sales strategy, and strategic sales and business development initiatives, in alignment with global sales strategy. Achieves sales targets in respect of both budgets and sales efficiency.
    • Sales targets: - Establishes sales targets and ensures sales achievement through regular oversight and definition and implementation of improvement plans as needed.
    • Customer acquisition: - Identifies opportunities at existing and potential new customers within defined geographical area and determines plans for acquisition and allocates resources.
    • Information sharing: - Coordinates the flow of information for sales activities and transactions, including leads, billings, orders, contracts, etc. and evaluates data to ensure achievement of goals. Monitors and provides reports to the Marketing and Sales organization on market intelligence. Works with the Business Line Market Managers to coordinate sales activities between the business lines and exploit synergies.
    • Customer relations: - Supports the development of strong relationships with key customers. Builds and maintains strong relationships with key decision makers. Ensures efficient marketing communications.
    • Volume, profit, and cost: - Ensures achievement of sales volume and product mix targets by setting appropriate price and margin for sales. Participates on negotiations of key contracts. Manages ongoing costs.
    • Risk: - Monitors client financial status and reports any changes regarding risk to relevant internal partner teams. Identifies and manages potential risks relating to contract agreements across customers/channels.
    • Sales process: - Takes ownership of the sales processes, and all relevant training and development plans, actions, and programs.
    • People leadership and development: - Coaches, motivates, and develops relevant colleagues within HR policies. Drives and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.
    • Account management: - Manage the strategic relationship with renewable developers, EPCs and other players in the renewables landscape. Lead the development and implementation of the account plans for significant players to include designing the executive relationship strategy and coverage plans, prioritizing the opportunities, identifying a target for each solution element. Propose recovery plans in case of potential order shortfalls.

    Your background

    • B.Tech or BSc degree in Electric or Electronic Engineering, or a suitable business degree.
    • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in customer relationship building business development and sales in the power renewables environment.
    • Proven track record of sales of projects or project development in Southern and East Africa.
    • ECSA Professional registration is desirable.

    Senior Account Payable

    You as a Senior Account Payable will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Modderfontein, South Africa. You will be Processing accounting transactions for Accounts Payable (AP) in a complete, accurate and timely manner while ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and procedures and external regulatory requirements and Responsible for Accounts Payable for Sub Saharan Africa including South Africa and branches. Ensuring Account payable is paid on time per agreements with supplier mainly 90 days and investigating GR/IR reducing this balance. Maintaining the reserve bank approvals and application to the banks.

    Your responsibilities

    • Transaction processing: Processing Accounts Payable transactions, ensuring accurate tracking and processing.
    • Monthly closing: Performing necessary activities within the Accounts Payable area to ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
    • Analysis: Executing analysis and reports as assigned and takes appropriate action as necessary.
    • Internal controls: Complying and helps achieve Internal Control over financial reporting compliance in Accounts Payable for applicable templates. Participating in internal control testing and prepares relevant documentation.
    • Optimization: Assisting in developing and implementing processes and procedures, and continuously optimizes to gain efficiency and drive productivity gains.
    • Communication: Ensuring all relevant stakeholders are aware of progress and issues to maximize customer satisfaction.

    Your background

    • A post graduate degree in Accounting and Finance.
    • 5 years of experience and knowledge in Account Payable.
    • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to analyze complex financial data.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills; high sense of ownership, can-do attitude, and ability to influence others and Solid know how of the SAP FI/CO module, general accounting, and reporting processes.
    • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
