JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clean floors with broom and soap water
• Wash machines and windows with soap water and dry off
• Ensure effective use of cleaning material and equipment
• Clean components with chemicals before assembly or inspection
• Assist the artisan when needed
• Collect paper waste in the specially marked bins for collection by recycling Company
• Store all cleaning equipment and products neatly in the designated cupboards on each floor

RELATIONSHIPS

• Reports directly to the Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Good interpersonal skill, basic communication, and literacy
• Previous cleaning experience exposure in engineering
• Previously work cleaning experience exposure in an engineering environment
• Bilingual

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reviewing drawings and specifications to determine what material and equipment are needed
• Use basic measuring equipment
• Use fixed and portable workshop tools
• Be able to read and under drawings, specifications and accordance with established procedures and compiles material list
• Applies established safety procedures and guidelines
• Assembling components so they are ready for installation
• Use hand tools in stripping and assembly process
• Fitting and assembling metal parts and tools

RELATIONSHIPS

• Reports directly to the Supervisor

INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL INTERFACES

• Liaise with other internal staff

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• N3 or higher qualification – mechanical - Red Seal artisan qualification appropriate state certification
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the mining process, crushing, and screening equipment
• Must have a valid code 08 driver’s license
• Proven experience working as a fitter
• Ability to effectively communicate with a drive and performance orientation
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Exception welding and mechanical skills

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Using various gages and equipment to measure dimensions and functionality
• Reading blueprints and specifications to understand the requirements and standards
• Rejecting products that fail to meet quality standards and reporting any defects or discrepancies
• Maintaining work area and equipment in a clean and safe condition
• Conducting inspections, test, and internal audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Identify and report any nom-compliance issues and recommend corrective measure
• Communicate inspection results and findings to Supervisor
• Conduct follow-up inspections to verify corrective actions
• Performing quality checks and process audits on materials, products, and service
• Compile detailed inspection reports with pictures
• Compile condition report for each refurbishment part

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• A high school diploma or equivalent, or bachelor’s degree or four-year apprenticeship
• 2-5 years of experience in quality assurance, inspection, or related field
• Knowledge of safety and quality regulations and standard, such as ISO9000
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Experience using inspection tools, equipment, and software
• A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach
• Ability to use inspection in related field
• Certification in the related field would be an asset
• Microsoft Office exposure, Excel and Word etc

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• 2-5 years of experience in quality assurance, inspection, or related filed
• Demonstrated knowledge of safety and quality regulations and standards
• Experience using inspection tools, equipment, and software
• Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
• Good communication skills
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Good organizational and leadership skills combined with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• A self-motivated induvial with the ability to work under stress and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication, cooperation, and people skills
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear
• The employee is required to stand, walk, and climb or balance
• The employee must lift and /or move up to 20kg
