    Professional Nurse (Home Visits)

    Requirements    

    • A valid driving licence and a reliable vehicle.
    • Degree / Diploma leading to qualification as a Professional or General Nurse.
    • Post Graduate Certificate / Diploma in Emergency Nursing and/or Community Health Nursing - will be advantageous.
    • Basic Life Support certificate.
    • Valid SANC licence for 2024.
    • 3 years experience in a hospital setting (post-licensing at SANC).
    • 1 year in a home care nursing environment, experience in emergency care and experience in the care of medical patients will be advantageous.
    • A good understanding and application of the nursing scope of practice.
    • Sound knowledge of the scientific nursing process, nursing record-keeping, nursing procedures, pharmacology, patient health education and counselling, and Infection prevention and control (IPC) principles and protocols.
    • Develop/modify a nursing care plan skills.
    • Risk Management skills.
    • Patient assessment skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and the ability to work on mobile applications.
    • Excellent communications skills (verbal and written).

    • Translate risks into policy terms and conditions, guided by actuarial pricing engine.
    • Engage policyholders and potential clients for purposes of understanding and addressing their risk profile.
    • Provide clinical leadership and support to the policy administration and client services teams.

    Theatre Unit Manager - Trichardt

    Requirements    

    • 3 or 4-year Diploma or 4 year Degree in Nursing
    • Postgraduate qualification in Operating Theatre Techniques 
    • Registered with SANC as a Professional Nurse
    • A qualification in Nursing education qualification or/and Nursing management will serve as an advantage
