    Finance Administrator

    • Monocle is looking for a Finance Administrator to join our internal finance team for a growing International consulting group firm. This position reports directly to the Financial Manager, the Finance Executive and Group CFO. As a Financial Administrator/Intern your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

    Manage the full invoicing and contract life cycle process between Monocle and its clients, which may include but not limited to:

    • Statement of work and purchase order management
    • Tracking the accuracy of timesheets received
    • Accurately invoice Monocles clients and generating statements
    • Effectively build and maintain relationships with the Monocles clients
    • Effectively communicate with Executives on on-going status between Monocle, its employees and consultants, and the client.
    • Effectively manage Monocles debtors book as well as effectively maintaining the debtor relationship with specific client debtor representatives
    • Maintain and track the clients vendor and procurement process and communicate effectively with the clients procurement team.
    • Assisting with filing and data entry into the financial information system
    • Recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records
    • Reconciling daily bank balances and posting cash book entries for the group
    • Reconciling the petty cash fund, and journalising the transactions
    • Taking on additional tasks, projects or research to learn more about accounting and office operations.
    • Implementing internal control systems as the group grows and evolves
    • Responding to ad-hoc financial queries and information requests.

    Additional responsibilities include, but is not limited to the following:

    • Drive consistency, accuracy and timely reporting across the group in a high paced environment
    • Engagement and communication with Executives at all levels
    • Well-organized, energetic and adaptable team player.

     

     

    The successful candidate must:

    • Must be a recent graduate with a Bachelors degree in Accounting.

    Marketing Manager
