    Commercial Lawyers

    The role would be specifically to provide key support to PwC UK bid teams, senior lawyers, and risk management professionals on G&PS matters, by:

    • Reviewing and advising on non-standard contracts and related materials within Invitation to Tender (ITT) documents issued by G&PS clients;
    • Reviewing and advising on the suite of G&PS framework agreements PwC UK has signed up to;
    • Preparing clear advice notes setting out key contractual risks within the terms;
    • Liaising and communicating effectively with a wide range of internal clients to ensure they understand service-specific requirements, the contract position and PwC UK’s approach;
    • Provide ad hoc support to our senior lawyers on particular G&PS projects or deals;
    • Maintaining and improving our G&PS systems, databases and resources;
    • Performing other similar tasks.
    • Drafting of contracts for review

    Key requirements for the role:

    • At least 2 years’ post articles experience in providing commercial legal advice, either within an in-house environment or within law firms, ideally working with organisations similar to PwC or its competitors;
    • Great communication skills;
    • Good experience of advising on a range of commercial contracts;
    • Good drafting skills;
    • Ability to handle large volumes of data and text with accuracy and speed, to identify issues, and be adept at conveying issues to a non-legal audience.
    • The ability to work effectively to deadlines is an absolute must;
    • Ability to adapt and to be open minded and innovative;
    • An ability to build good relationships and become a trusted advisor to the business.

    Valuations Manager

    Roles & Responsibilities 

    The successful candidate will have a support role to play in the team across a broad range of valuations including for: 

    • acquisitions, 
    • disposals, 
    • financing and debt advisory, 
    • private equity, 
    • due diligence investigations, 
    • post deal services, 
    • financial reporting and 
    • audit assistance. 
    • The candidate will gain exposure to a wide range of clients, from global multinationals through to entrepreneurial, owner managed businesses, covering both domestic and cross border work. 

    Requirements 

    • Post graduate qualification 
    • CA (SA) would be advantageous 
    • CFA or studying towards CFA would be advantageous 
    • 12+ months of valuation experience
