REQUIREMENTS:

• Industrial Engineering qualification
• 5 years’ experience in Logistics, Supply Chain or Inventory Management including forecasting and applying analytical methods to solve supply chain and related problems.
• Project Management experience advantageous
• Well-developed understanding of demand forecasting & inventory management
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent English verbal & written skills

DUTIES:

• Plan and implement assigned inventory and logistics optimization projects
• Give input into, and provide technical advice for, the strategic and tactical direction to the Aftermarket operations regarding inventory planning and demand forecasting to drive best compromise between inventory investment and customer satisfaction.
• Seek to improve all aspects of the inventory and logistics management functions, driving continuous improvements, through review of methodology and processes to align with best practice.
• Define leading indicators and conduct regular reporting to track execution and delivery, to achieve ROI on implemented initiatives.
• Build, develop, and maintain data models, automated reports, and dashboards that align to strategic performance metrics.
• Gathers, interprets, and conducts deep dive into relevant data, contributing to a proactive culture of root cause analysis, continuous improvement of costs, productivity, demand patterns etc, within inventory planning and logistics functions.
• Conduct Data Modelling, including responsibility for cleansing, consolidation, transformation, and validation of multiple data sources (types/systems).
• Develop and deliver compelling presentations using data/graphics to communicate insights and implications for Inventory and Supply Chain decision-making
• Ad hoc duties as required to support the department
• Ensure accurate recordkeeping
• Prepare and submit accurate reports, in the agreed format, on time
• Ensure compliance with standard operating policies and procedures (including quality controls)

DUTIES:

• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulics and mechanical issues in various earthmoving equipment.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in earthmoving machinery technology.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
• Repair and service to the full range of Bell Equipment machinery
• Strip, assess, quote, plan, repair & complete accident damage or rebuild machines.
• Strip, asses & rebuild machine components, including engine, transmission, axles, pumps etc.
• Plan for parts & equipment required for specific repairs.
• Use computer to order, create pick list, quotes etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Applicants must be qualified red seal Earthmoving Mechanics with a minimum of N2 trade   theory, engineering science, applied math’s & engineering drawing.
• Solid understanding of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems in heavy machinery
• 5 years post trade experience in mechanical repairs field
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues in earthmoving equipment.
• Valid code 8 driver’s license.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills & attention to detail
• Previous experience working with earthmoving equipment.
• Familiarity with computerized diagnostic tools.
• Additional certificates in electrical systems or related fields would be an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• PC literate
• Basic welding skills
• Applicants MUST have their own set of tools.

• Reporting on opposition activities and market intelligence
• Ensuring all administrative duties and CRM , ie call reports, reports on lost sales, forecasting, etc are accurately and timeously completed

REQUIREMENTS:

•  Abet Level 4
• A minimum of 5 (Five) years’ experience in the selling of Bell or Heavy Earthmoving Equipment
• Preference will be given to applicants who have completed an appropriate tertiary degree or diploma or have made substantial progress towards attaining same
• May not have a criminal record due to international travel
• Applicants must have strong communication skills
• Applicants must be self-motivated and resourceful
• Applicants must be prepared to travel and spend time away from home as required
• Full computer literacy is required in both MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
