Minimum Requirements 

• Diploma in Hotel or Food and beverage Operations
• Must have at least 8 to 10 years experience in a 5 star Hotel or Fine Dining Establishment
• Exposure to a stock Management System
• Fluency in Xhosa and/or Afrikaans advantageous.      

Responsibilities 

• Assisting with the management of daily operations in the outlet; maintaining an active presence during peak meal times to interact with guests.
• Collaborating with the Executive Chef to develop Food & Beverage concepts, menus, and pricing; ensuring their successful implementation to drive revenue and enhance public relations within the department.
• Planning and executing special Food & Beverage events, and contributing to promotional ideas to boost revenue and public relations.
• Ensuring the Food & Beverage department is adequately supplied with necessary operating equipment, consumables, staff, and beverages to maintain high service standards; overseeing proper storage and control of stock, and addressing any stock variances by following up and resolving issues.
• Ensuring accurate revenue generation and accounting.
