    Account Director

    Key Responsibilities:

    Executive Client Leadership

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients at Exco and senior management level.
    • Serve as strategic counsel to clients, advising on business and communication challenges beyond day-to-day campaign work.
    • Drive transformational outcomes that deliver measurable value for clients and the agency.
    • Lead crisis management and resolution, acting as the primary point of escalation for client accounts.
    • Champion client needs across all agency departments to ensure exceptional, joined-up service delivery.

    Strategic Direction

    • Shape the long-term strategic vision for client accounts in partnership with Strategy and Creative.
    • Lead integrated campaign development across all channels and touch points.
    • Drive innovation in creative solutions, media approaches, and technology adoption.
    • Ensure all strategic output delivers measurable business impact against client objectives.
    • Present strategic recommendations to client boards and senior leadership.

    Business Leadership

    • Drive organic growth within existing accounts through proactive opportunity identification.
    • Lead major new business pitches and proposals.

    Team Leadership & Development

    • Lead and inspire multiple account teams of Account Managers and Account Executives.
    • Set clear goals and expectations; provide guidance, support, and regular performance feedback.
    • Create a high-performance culture built on accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
    • Drive talent acquisition by contributing to recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new team members.
    • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team and the broader agency.

    Brief Development & Campaign Delivery

    • Write clear, accurate, and concise creative briefs that effectively communicate client goals, target audience, and all relevant information.
    • Collaborate with Creative, Strategy, Production, and other agency resources to develop innovative, impactful campaigns.
    • Oversee quality assurance on all work produced, ensuring creativity, attention to detail, and alignment with brand strategy.

    Agency Leadership & Business Development

    • Contribute to agency-wide strategic planning and business development initiatives.
    • Participate in executive-level decision-making and cross-departmental governance.
    • Drive cross-functional collaboration between Client Service, Creative, Strategy, and Production.
    • Build and protect the agency’s reputation through thought leadership and client excellence.

    Requirements

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field
    • Postgraduate qualification in Business or Marketing is advantageous

    Experience

    • Minimum 7 years’ experience in advertising or related industry, with at least 3 years at senior account management level.
    • Proven track record of managing large, complex, multi-market accounts.
    • Demonstrated experience leading teams and developing talent.
    • Retail or FMCG advertising experience is highly advantageous.

    Social Media Manager

    Responsibilities:

    Client Service

    • Establish and maintain relationships with clients. Build trust through ongoing thought leadership in social media.
    • Manage creative briefs, client feedback and delivery of content.
    • Plan, create timelines, update status, manage deliverables and expectations.
    • Set up, manage, conduct, and contact report on client presentations.
    • When necessary, assist with the administration of cost estimates and billings thereof.
    • Manage user security and access to clients’ accounts / tools / reports / dashboards.

    Strategic Thinking

    • Collaborate and contribute on Social Media proposals for:
    • Planned and ad-hoc activity.
    • Online listening, trend sourcing, outreach & tactical response
    • Channel health or emerging channel creation
    • Ideation, workshops, brainstorms etc.
    • Contribute to Influencer Marketing and Content Marketing efforts.
    • Regularly update teams / clients on current and emerging landscape trends, competitor activity and latest news

    Content & Channel Planning

    • Work closely with client & wider client service team to create, manage and maintain social content and/or communication calendars.
    • Conduct regular research to monitor clients, consumer, influencer, competitor, industry, and social landscape/trends activity.
    • Ensure each individual channel has clarity on plans, actions, responsibilities, and social posting schedule with best practice in mind.

    Content & Channel Administration

    • Assist and/or manage the production of content on social jobs.
    • Ensure collaboration with creative, paid media and other relevant departments for effective execution of work.
    • Scheduling & deactivation of content across channels.
    • Ensure effective searchability / tracking / tagging across content.
    • Manage client’s creative content bible.
    • Be an advanced user in all tech and tools relevant to your role.
    • Ad hoc community management as-and-when required.

    Content & Channel Performance Management

    • Work closely with Strategy department to ensure effective integration of efforts.
    •  Assist with Channel, Content, Campaign and Health Audits / Reporting
    • Assist with Benchmark, Review, Live Listening and ROI Reporting
    • Conduct regular performance checks & ensure escalations/recommendations are made timeously.
    • Manage Creative Identity of Channel, Content, Templates and Spec sheets.

    This is including but not limited to:

    • In-House Departments
    • Social Media Platforms
    • Paid Media Agencies and/or Publishers
    • Influencer Management
    • Online Listening & Reputation Management
    • Content Marketing & Production
    • Technology Development (AR, VR or AI)
    • Immerging technology etc.

    Requirements

    • Work experience in Social Media and/or Agency Environment
    • Experience in the fundamentals of classical and digital marketing
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong analytical and project management skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Public speaking and presentation skills is beneficial.
    • Self-motivated, hard-working and eager to learn attitude.
    • Highly organised, strong attention to detail, deadline driven, ability to problem solve and confident in a fast-paced environment.
    • Deep understanding of the various social media and immerging marketing channels
    • Experience with retail brands is beneficial.
    • Valid, driver's licence and own transport.

    Junior Art Director - Cape Town

    Job Scope includes but is not limited to:

    • Working in a team under the leadership of a Group Head and Creative
    • Director to conceptualise and execute campaigns based on both client and internal briefs.
    • Present work imaginatively and confidently to clients and senior creatives
    • Be skilled in design and conceptualisation.
    • Maintain exceptionally high standards for execution and attention to detail.

    Requirements

    Minimum relevant experience and skills/attributes required:

    • Relevant tertiary qualification

    • At least 2 years’ previous experience in a high-volume environment
    • Demonstrated experience with social media design across various social media digital platforms
    • Strong skills in design software such as InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator nonnegotiable
    • Knowledge and proficiency in Figma
    • Experience in digital and experiential advertising is advantageous
    • Strong interpersonal skills; a team player, persuasive negotiator, positive and innovative thinker
    • Maintain high standards for execution and attention to detail
    • Highly motivated and a high level of initiative; ability to work independently, in support of the agency’s creative goals and the client’s business objectives

    Content Filmmaker

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with clients and the creative team to develop and interpret production briefs.
    • Conceptualize, plan, and execute video and photo shoots using mirrorless or cinema cameras and professional lighting.
    • Lead the editing process, delivering high-quality content optimized for various digital platforms.
    • Stay ahead of social media trends, incorporating innovative ideas into content strategies.
    • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining quality and adhering to deadlines.

    • Advanced proficiency with mirrorless/cinema cameras, professional lighting equipment, and audio capture.
    • Expertise in video editing software, including davinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, and After Effects (advantageous).
    • Basic skills in Adobe Photoshop for content refinement.
    • Deep understanding of social media platforms and the digital content landscape.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines without compromising quality.
    • Strong storytelling ability, creative vision, and attention to detail.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Self-motivated and adaptable, with a solution-oriented mindset.

    Education and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field.
    • Relevant certifications or professional training in filmmaking or editing are advantageous.
