    Quality Specialist, South Africa

    Your responsibilities:

    • Assists in the development and execution of streamlined business systems, which effectively identify and resolve quality issues.
    • Supports departmental, functional, divisional, and corporate quality goals and priorities.
    • Acts as team member in supporting quality disciplines, decisions, and practices.
    • Builds quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
    • Execute CAPAs and participate in improvement projects as appropriate.
    • Execution of field actions and handling product complaints, document review and Supplier management.
    • Managing processes at a Third-Party Logistic (3PL) warehouse.
    • In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.
    • Assures that appropriate resources (personnel, tools, etc.) are maintained in order to assure Quality System compliance and adherence to the BSC Quality Policy.
    • Establishes and promotes a work environment that supports the Quality Policy and Quality System.

    What are we looking for in you:

    • A degree qualification in scientific subjects, such as Biological Sciences or Health Sciences.
    • Proven experience within Quality Assurance, either from the medical device industry, or from the pharmaceutical sector.  
    • Experience of CAPA, managing non-conformances.
    • Experience in executing field actions, handling product complaints and documentation reviews.
    • Good understanding of governing regulations and experience in managing processes at a Third-Party Logistic (3PL) warehouse.  
    • ISO13485 lead auditor experience is beneficial.
    • Proactive and innovative team member with problem solving expertise.
    • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
    • Internal and external communication skills.
    • English language skills, both written and verbal, at a professional working proficiency level.

    Senior Solutions Architect- South Africa

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Work with Divisional business teams to unearth and prioritize customer needs.
    • Work closely with the Strategic Account Manager to support solution pitch and partnership building as well as contract execution for strategic accounts
    • Build a tailored value proposition to address customer needs allowing BSC to gain long-term sustainable share.
    • Proactively manage end-to-end internal business case approval (Business Units, Legal, QARA).
    • Responsible for drafting and closing commercial agreements in partnership with local commercial teams.
    • Collaborate with colleagues within the Solutions Delivery Team to define, plan, and execute the implementation of commercial solution projects.
    • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders, internally and externally, to ensure the project proceeds according to plan.
    • Deploy adjustments to the plan as needed to realign with the project's goals & objectives, ensuring that the result meets the expectations of the Customer and Boston Scientific.
    • Track and report on key metrics to upper management, aligned with overall goals & objectives.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred
    • Excellent project/process management/ analytical skills
    • Experience in consulting
    • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
    • Understanding of Healthcare Industry
    • Track record of developing successful plans and delivering positive performance
    • Demonstrates strong industry knowledge and commercial mindset
    • Working in multifunctional cross-cultural teams
    • Must be able to travel regularly within the country
