    Data Engineer

    Purpose Statement

    • The purpose of the Data Engineer is to use their database, software engineering and programming skills to ensure the necessary data is properly stored on the cloud platform and is available to the Data Scientists.

    Experience
    Min

    • At least 4-6 years’ proven experience within management information systems / system analysis
    • Systems engineering and implementations experience
    • Experience with data services on a cloud platform like Azure, AWS or Google cloud is preferred

    Qualifications (Minimum)

    • A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology
    • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational

    Support Specialist: DSD

    Purpose Statement

    • Co-ordinate, investigate and provide timely feedback on incoming E-Channels related queries received from the Business Support Centre (BSC) and Complaint Management to the requesting party with the guidance of the E-Channels Specialist.
    • Log and track E-Channels incidents on Jira.
    • Oversee small system and/or operational improvements resulting from user and client queries

    Experience
    Min:

    • 2 - 3 Years proven experience in providing technical support to departments dealing with client queries
    • Ideally have understanding and working experience of SQL to look up and correlate databases
    • Escalation processing, Isolation and Problem solving
    • Report writing
    • Provides feedback daily to junior and senior management levels

    Business Engineer: Integrated Business Planning

    Purpose Statement

    To imagine, innovate, implement and improve the Capitec Management Operating System (Capitec MOS) to deliver on Capitec’s Vision


    Primary Focus: To translate Capitec’s vision and strategy to:


    1. facilitate the implementation of the enterprise strategic objectives through leveraging the Capitec MOS
    2. evolve the future Integrated Business Planning (IBP) architecture in support of Capitec MOS
    3. develop and maintain IBP implementation roadmap

    Secondary Focus: Translate business needs emanating from various projects, ideas or system changes across Shared Services into business requirements for developing/buying IT systems and developing project implementation plans

    Experience
    Min:

    8-10 years of enterprise wide Supply Chain and planning experience
    Ideal:

    • Translating corporate strategies and objectives into planning capabilities
    • Initiation and implementation of projects with the goal to implement the IBP target operating model and improve business performance

    Forensic Investigator

    Purpose Statement

    • Under the guidance of the Manager: Forensic Investigations, investigate instances of risk related to various types of fraud incidents across Capitec Bank (e.g. internal corruption, serious breach of policies and procedures, and criminal syndicates) including investigating the matter, the parties involved and provide appropriate evidence for disciplinary hearings and/or criminal proceedings.

    • Identify potential control weaknesses and recommend preventative measures, improvements and training initiatives against potential fraud to Capitec Bank.

    Experience

    Min:

    • At least 3 years’ experience as a Forensic Investigator/Auditor


    Ideal:

    • At least 3 years’ experience in commercial crime investigation

    Purpose Statement

    • To deliver a comprehensive detailed technical specification that offers a viable solution to the business (more specifically, the Fraud and Forensics Department) and address the business requirements within the environment.
