PURPOSE:
To deliver expert technical support in Industrial Engineering discipline to Operations, Business Improvement and Business Planning processes
MAJOR CHALLENGES:
Translating Business and Operational issues into models and simulations to enable better decision making Supporting multiple areas and multiple projects concurrently through expert technical Industrial Engineering services
QUALIFICATIONS:
BEng Industrial Engineering ( Essential/Minimum )
EXPERIENCE:
6-8 years Experience in Project Evaluation and Improvement, Industrial Engineering tools and techniques. Exposure to projects in heavy industry environment. PC literate with PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills Mining processes; Dynamic Simulation modelling; Operational Research; Work and Method studies, Economical evaluations, Improvement methodologies / Project management exposure - Essential/Minimum

Strong liaison with operations personnel on all levels to ensure behaviour that supports process performance Cross functional teamwork and coordination of activities to achieve job intent Critical evaluation and improvement of integrated metallurgical processes performance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EXPERIENCE:
6-8 years Relevant operational experience in coal handling and preparation plants,essential of which 3-5 years design experience of coal handling and preparation plants is recommended, 3-5 years project management experience is essential, 3-5 years project portfolio management experience in a mining environment is recommended - Essential/Minimum - Operational
