    MN MEA MU Finance Leader

    Family Description

    • Finance (FI) comprises all finance and control activities, external and internal reporting, and capital allocation processes. Provides services in the area of financial planning, accounting, controlling, reporting, performance management, tax, investor relations, treasury, and mergers and acquisitions.

    Subfamily Description

    • Customer & Project Controlling (CPC) comprises the strategic business controlling to drive market / customer / project financial performance. Covers provision of decision support to sales and project teams including customer business case support and analysis. Contains financial planning, reporting, and analysis for customer / project organisation.

    HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

    • Finance representative & business partner for the MU Head
    • Leading the Finance team of Customer Business Controllers (incl. PPC) in their unit
    • Manages, controls and continuously improves the financial performance of the BG in the respective MU unit area
    • Manages and challenges MU level forecast with inputs from different stakeholders (PMs/FPCs)/CX).
    • Provides financial strategic insights on Actuals and Forecasted financials and advice on innovative business schemes on a MU unit dimension.
    • Senior customer interface for finance matters and escalations.
    • Performs financial risk management and risks/ opportunities controlling.
    • Leads together with MU Head the BG Profitability and Asset Improvement topics. 
    • Provides senior financial expertise for customer offers when required for the BG cases and supports negotiations regarding financial matters.
    • Performer and supervisor of specific BG SOX controls & completion check for their respective BC unit area.
    • Provides senior support to countries in IFRS accounting and reporting related matters, when necessary. 

    KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Strong understanding of the telecommunication industry and the operator’s business model
    • Experience in infrastructure projects
    • Bachelor degree in Finance and/or accounting
    • Managerial leadership experience
    • Track record in customer interface in a b2b environment
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

    Region Recognition and Reward Manager

    HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

    • Coordinate the flow of information from People Reward Direction, Business R R&R and People Business Services (PBS) to stakeholders in businesses, regions and countries, ensuring alignment and understanding of global programs in PBS, as well as representing business and geographic imperatives of stakeholders back to People Reward Direction, B R&Rs and PBS.
    • Apply a continuous improvement mindset, focus on enriching people experience by streamline and simplify processes, and maximize automation and digitalization opportunities.
    • Work closely with senior HR leaders and business stakeholders to proactively identify issues and recommend compensation and benefits solutions. Represent Nokia interest in reward and recognition solutions while balance business and regional perspective.
    • Ensure Nokia compensation and benefits operations in local countries remain compliant with local laws and manage compliance obligations and reporting in local countries (e.g. reporting to local governments and authorities)
    • Anticipates internal and external business challenges and / or regulatory issues and drives process and /or service improvements that create competitive advantage for Nokia.
    • Share functional expertise, industry insights, and best practices among Regional R&R team, internal clients, peers, and others across the company.
    • May lead or support projects in a compensation design team.

    KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    You have:

    • Extensive global compensation and benefits experience with solid exposure to the Engineering, Computer Science and/or IT industry and regional compensation and benefits practices
    • Proven experience in successfully communicating and deploying corporate compensation initiatives/projects in complex, large scale organizations.
    • Customer focused with a passion to drive positive changes
    • Strong consulting experience, combining analytical thinking with highly effective communication skills
    • Ability to be influential and establish positive working relationships across the organization
    • Detailed oriented, accurate, and able to maintain high levels of confidentiality
