    Assistant Branch Manager

    Main purpose of the position:

    • Participative and supportive management of the branch at a profit and providing sustainable service, trade and agricultural products in the designated area.

    Minimum Requirements:          

    • Grade 12 (an agricultural qualification will be an advantage);
    • 2 – 3 years experience in an agricultural environment;
    • Valid drivers license.

    Skills:

    • Sound communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English;
    • Natural ability to successfully function in a competitive agricultural environment;
    • Computer literate (MS Office);
    • Good numerical ability;
    • Good organisational skills;
    • Ability to positively influence staff and take disciplinary action in accordance with the Labour Relations Act;
    • Good time management skills;
    • Strong leadership skills.

    Responsibilities:

    • Supporting management of administration;
    • Support to promote market share;
    • Supporting management to personnel matters;
    • Supporting management to stock control;
    • Supporting management and maintenance of assets.

    Tractor Mechanic

    Main purpose of the position:

    • Repair of Agricultural Equipment.

    Requirements:

    • Grade 12;
    • Qualified tractor mechanic with 3-5 years experience;
    • Valid drivers license.

    Skills:

    • Sound communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English;
    • Computer literate ( MS Office);
    • Good interpersonal skills;
    • Good organisational ability;
    • Good conflict management skills;
    • Good time management;
    • Must be able to function under pressure.

    Responsibilities:

    • Service and repair of agricultural equipment;
    • Handling of worksheets;
    • Evaluate whole goods;
    • Training of apprentices.

    Branch Manager

    • Management of finances;
    • Management of staff;
    • Control and management of administration;
    • Grow market share;
    • Maintenance and management of assets;
    • Management of stock.

    Junior Graphic Design and Admin

    Main purpose of the position:

    • To submit creative designs subject to corporate identity for the benefit of OVK's image.

    Requirements:

    • Grade 12;
    • Qualification in Graphic Design (National Diploma) or at least 3 years’ experience in Graphic Design.

    Skills:

    • Graphic Computer Skills;
    • Social media;
    • Interpersonal communication skills;
    • Knowledge of marketing and advertising;
    • Good human relations;
    • English and Afrikaans proficient.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design of OVK adverts and promotional items;
    • Design of Internal corporate stationery;
    • General Assistant to the videographer;
    • General marketing responsibilities such as assistance at functions hosted by the Marketing Department.

    Admin Clerk

    Main purpose of the position:

    • Effective handling of all administrative tasks with regard to the administration department.

    Minimum Requirements:         

    • Grade 12;
    • Knowledge of AS400 will be an advantage;
    • 2-3 years experience in a trade branch a recommendation.
    • Valid driver's license.

    Skills:

    • Computer literate (MS Office);
    • Sound communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English;
    • Good numerical ability;
    • Good organisational skills;
    • Good sales skills.

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintaining administration;
    • Maintaining of daily fuel;
    • Handling claims;
    • Handling of clients orders;
    • Handle invoices and journals.
