    Triton Express: General Worker - Team Leader

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Maintaining and overseeing all records of received goods and supplies
    • Arranging consignments in the warehouse after stock orders have been placed
    • Organising shifts and delegate work to subordinates
    • Verifying received goods with the packing lists and invoices
    • Ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety policies in the warehouse
    • Communicating with branches regarding all shipments and deliveries
    • Ensuring all company procedures and processes are followed
    • Planning, directing and maintaining an efficient receiving operation and assigning, inspecting and evaluating the work performance of staff assigned to the warehouse
    • General housekeeping
    • Assisting with queries from clients, branches and other staff on the warehouse floor

    • Obtaining driver trip sheet acceptance (signature), hand waybills (copy) and record vehicle

    Triton Express: Zone Controller- Cross Border CSD

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Supervising pre-delivery loading procedures by:

    • Collecting and sorting waybills according to route requirements
    • Checking cargo for damage, shortages and verifies waybill against cargo stickers
    • Scanning numbers for delivery and collection lists
    • Scanning parcels into trucks for delivery
    • Supervising cargo loading, ensuring handling and safety compliance
    • Identifying COD's and follow through collections of such COD's
    • Liaising with clients as and when required

    Monitoring delivery and collection procedures by:

    • Conducting bay checks, investigates non-deliveries, completes bay schedule – daily
    • Monitoring daily and ad hoc collections and provides collection instructions via radio
    • Responding to delivery and collection clears and resolving queries
    • Liaising with clients regarding collection / delivery information, data and instructions
    • Monitoring vehicle activity using satellite tracking system

    Supervising of vehicle debriefing/ offloading procedures by:

    • Directing parcel sorting into destination / location area
    • Verifying waybills against parcels and stickers
    • Scanning parcels into Freightware by waybill and submits to data capturers
    • Checking scanning on system
    • Checking cargo dimensions and weight on receipt of collections at the depot
    • Recording cheques received in Zone File and submits to data captured daily
    • Verifying all documents in terms of documents being signed off correctly, and waybill numbers appear correctly

    Providing team maintenance by:

    • Providing instructions, handling complaints, queries, training team members, counseling and motivating improved performance of team members

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Grade 12 minimum (Matric)
    • 3 – 4 years in freight / transportation
    • Ability to converse in both English / Afrikaans language
    • Ability to do arithmetic calculations
    • Industry specific experience is not a prerequisite, but would assist
    • A basic understanding of a store / warehousing environment
    • A good understanding of transportation routing within area of operation
    • A good understanding of freight packaging requirements and load distribution
    • A basic technical understanding of motor vehicles and general traffic ordinances
    • Computer literate – basic understanding of Freight ware or similar management system
    • A unendorsed valid driver’s code 10
    • Ability to work unsociable hours as and when required in order to meet clients’ needs
    • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines

    Jupidex: Sales Representative

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Development and execution on Sales Budget for the allocated area:

    • Do an in-depth analysis of agricultural activities and determine equipment requirements in conjunction with Product Specification Committee.
    • Develop an annual per country sales budget focusing on key products.
    • Develop a per country sales plan.
    • Execute against set unit and GP and profit by product line objectives.
    • Ensure that sales budget is achieved.
    • Give regular feedback on performance against budget.
    • Implement immediate corrective actions where deviations occur.

    Sales & Marketing Actions:

    Selling – In:

    • Develop and maintain a productive long-term relationship with customers.
    • Assist dealers or co-ops to determine project sales.
    • Ensure that products are delivered as per sales floor plans.
    • Assist with identifying possible financing and insurance possibilities.
    • Identifying and managing risk with regards to sales.

    Selling - Out

    • Introduce actions and activities to promote the brand and products in allocated areas e.g. study groups, farmers groups, agricultural institutions such as agricultural schools, colleges and universities.
    • Demonstrations, farmer’s days, collaborations with other businesses such as seed and other input providers.
    • Initiate sales & marketing opportunities by continuous area analysis and identifying opportunities.
    • Reach out to individual farmers and potential customers to create demand and refer to dealers.
    • Plan and execute activities in line with sales & marketing plans.

    Stock Management:

    • Liaise with logistics/Head Office regarding delivery of stock items.
    • Ensure that stock in his/her portfolio is visible and maintained as per company directives.
    • Arrange for the delivery and commissioning of equipment to customers.

    Administration:

    • Develop robust knowledge of all products in countries.
    • Document all administrative work on SAGE X3 (quotations, customer visits, registration of sold equipment, inventory management).
    • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities.
    • Track expenses in an organized fashion.
    • Report weekly/monthly on the status of field marketing activities.
    • Document and share lead/customer intelligence with sales team.
    • Open communication to Business Development Manager and Chief Operating Officer (COO).

    REQUIREMENTS:

    Education:

    • Min: Post-Matric Certificate/Diploma
    • Ideal: Degree in agriculture/business/marketing or a related field

    Legal Requirements:

    • Min: Driver’s license, police clearance and Passport

    Training:

    • On-the-job training, Computer Skills on Word & EXCEL

    Hazard & Safety Requirements:

    • Min: Occupational Health & Safety

    Experience:

    • High level of product application knowledge.
    • 3-5 years’ experience.
