    Maintenance Manager

    Job Description    
    Responsible to lead and manage the site maintenance team responsible to maintain all bakery assets utilizing the Premier maintenance systems within budget whilst adhering and complying to all legal requirements, also ensuring a high performance culture. (The Premier way).

    Qualification Requirements    

    • Qualified Artisan (Electrician/ Millwright)
    • N4 in Electrical Engineering
    • Chamber of Baking process certificate
    • N6 Electrical Engineering (dependent on statutory plant specific requirements)

    Experience Requirements    

    • Maintenance Manager at a Bakery 5-7 year
    • Mechanical Engineering experience 3-5 years
    • Working with plant related PLC 3-5 years

    • To ensure baking process delivers quality products within specifications in collaboration with the production manager by:
    1. ensuring adherence to baking equipment parameters
    2. monitoring baking process
    3. Identifying exceptions and variations
    4. Performing route cause to address and correct them.
    • To support cost effective operations by identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, increased efficiencies, cost saving or quality improvements in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders through regular benchmarking and identification of best practises.
    • To procure, manage and control essential spares, stock, consumables and tools in line with budget and lead team requirements in order minimise down time and support continuous bakery operations.
    • To plan and organise resources to support the execution of preventative maintenance, breakdowns, support for projects, inspections and audits and day to day operations in line with budget and targets for the team.

    Dispatch Manager

    Job Description    
    To manage and control the full supply chain process of dispatch including receiving, dispatch and returns process for the Premier Bakery Aeroton. Ensure and support On Time In Full deliveries by ensuring that vehicles are loaded in full and on-time with quality products according tthe customer requirements and pipeline.

    Qualification Requirements    

    • Matric or Equivalent (Essential)
    • Tertiary qualification in logistics or Supply chain management (Desirable)

    Experience Requirements    

    • Warehouse and inventory management experience in FMCG industry 3-5 Years (Essential)
    • Supervisory Experience 2 -3 Years (Essential)

    Key Outputs    

    • Ensure and support On Time In Full deliveries by ensuring that vehicles are loaded in full and on-time with quality products according tthe customer requirements and pipeline.
    • Tensure cost effective bakery deliveries through loading of the vehicles with the correct capacity per route through: communication of the same with dispatch staff and suppliers (if needed) ensuring adherence tutilization of the Driver Route Management / vehicle route allocation list received, managing exceptions in line with the Driver Route Management SOP’s with the transport manager.
    • Prevent waste due tpoor stock management through correct stock rotation as per the dispatch SOP and food safety standards.
    • Tensure a high performing dispatch team through the recruitment, training, coaching and supervision of the team responsible tdispatch good quality products on-time and in full, in line with Premier Way.
    • Improve dispatch efficiencies and reduce costs by ensure good operational process controls are in place for the:
    1. Prevention of theft and damages
    • Proper crate controls and reconciliations Completion of daily Off loads and returns reconciliations.
    • Daily collation of the dispatch loading requirements tinform the production schedule according tthe site SOP’s and process checklists/controls.
    • Ensure timeous and fact-based management decision making through the collection, analysis and reporting of dispatch performance against agreed budget and cost parameters in order tensure continuous improvement in collaboration with the dispatch team and relevant stakeholders.

    IT Systems Technician

    A career opportunity has arisen in the IT Department – Premier Corporate – Waterfall.  This position is responsible for the management of the IT Site support within Premier by providing a reliable, timeous and efficient support function across all divisional departments.

    Qualification Requirements

    • Support VoIP and Cellular issues. Initial support of the onsite VoIP and telephone management system before escalation to the VoIP provider.
    • Handling calls logged at the call centre for that region.  Ownership of the call from logging to closure and ensure helpdesk system compliance
    • Management and backup of the servers on site.  Initial trouble shooting before escalation.
    • Management of assets including tracking, disposure, control and Fixed Assets register updates
    • Initial support of the biometrics systems before escalation.
    • Ensuring proper business usage of the network.  Logging calls with the cabling supplier for installation as well as break and fix management of network points.
    • Asset Management of all IT assets and documentation to be maintained
    • Site Audit to be done monthly (CCTV, Biometrics, all IT Hardware, etc.)
    • Tally Checks to be conducted and ensure functionality of all printers and that backup printer is available and working.
    • Tally Checks – Ribbon life, printer status, UPS connectivity and test that invoices, payslips and creditors document print 100%.
    • Check tonner levels for all site printers and make sure stock levels is maintained by supplier.
    • Ensuring proper business usage of the WAN. Ensure calls are logged with the network provider for all line issues

    Assistant: Sales

    Purpose of the job:   
    Assist the Driver/Salesman in daily delivery of Premier products and where applicable assist the Driver/Salesman in cash and tray collection.

    Responsibilities:

    • Check company products as per loading sheet and sign
    • Adhering to standard departure times
    • Take responsibility for vehicle safety and hygiene
    • Collect cash from the customers and cash in daily (where applicable)

    • May be required to work on a rotating 12-hour shift which includes night shift

    Premier Queenstown Depot is currently looking for a Loader to join their team. This position will be reporting to the Deport Manager, with the responsibility of loading and offload bread on site. This is a 6-day position and if you meet the below requirements, then we are looking for you.
