    Accounts Payable Administrator

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Confirming new vendor documentation and amendments with independent authorities.
    • Collate supplier invoice to statement, capture invoice to a Rand Refinery Order to create a month end payment.
    • Perform creditor reconciliation to statement and email remittance.
    • Understand the process of a 2 - way and 3 -way match on SAP.
    • Manage and prepare local and foreign payment with SAP process.
    • Prepare and process ABSA online payments accordingly and clear foreign payments against the bank.
    • Prepare FNB online payments.
    • Resolve all supplier queries within a period of 30 working days.
    • Perform general ledger recons, provision, accruals, and summaries of specified GL accounts within month end timeline.
    • Prepare and assist internal and external Auditors with required documentation.
    • Adherence to the Accounts Payable policies and procedures.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • A completed Matric qualification.
    • A tertiary qualification (Degree, Diploma or National Certificate) in Accounting.
    • Must at least have acquired 5 years’ of work experience within an Accounts Payable role.

     SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

    • Communication skills – able to converse at all levels.
    • Computer literacy - SAP and MS Excel proficiency.
    • Financial accounting knowledge.
    • VAT knowledge - understanding and ability to apply principles of applicable.
    • VAT legislation to correctly claim input VAT.
    • EFT knowledge - able to process and check EFT payments and fraud management.
    • Vendor list knowledge - know the suppliers.
    • Administrative knowledge - able to manage administrative duties effectively.
    • Fraud identification knowledge - able to identify fraudulent practice with creditors.
    • Foreign payments - able to independently initiate and prepare foreign remittance documents.
    • Communication skills – able to converse at all levels.
    • Honesty, integrity, and confidentiality.
    • Knowledge of banking systems (FNB & ABSA) domestic and foreign.    
    • Be able to work under pressure in an Accounts environment with stringent timelines, internal and external customer concerns and queries.

    Draughtsman and Team Leader (JHB East Rand)

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Ensuring alignment of existing drawings in the system to all plant and equipment on site inclusive of PID's, general layout, design, electrical, instrumentation and any other drawings required.
    • Maintenance of the existing CAD drawing system and architecture.
    • Maintaining and updating the drawing register, drawing numbering system, revisions, and transmittals.
    • Ensure that drawing offices practices are adhered to by maintaining and ensuring compliance to standards and regulations whenever changes are made.
    • Capturing all OEM drawings based on the installation of new equipment on site.  Custodian of Drawings for purchasing of service & maintenance items.
    • Recording and maintaining municipal approval for alterations etc.
    • Consultation with other services providers and consultants in relation to approved drawings for construction.
    • Printing and plotting of various documents.
    • To liaise with production and engineering personnel on suitable designs and equipment to ensure acceptance of design and the successful implementation of the project on an agreed time frame.
    • To liaise with contractors on site visits to finalize drawing and associated scope requirements.
    • Project execution schedule compliance to the plan based on SAP notifications.
    • Compliance to the Rand Refinery drawing office standard and procedures.
    • Releasing of drawings for construction only upon approval by customer and Engineer only.
    • Cost management - allocation of costs for time spend on drawings as requested by customers as per schedule.
    • SHEQ management by ensuring that equipment, machinery, people and products are protected from risk and harm.
    •  Identify hazards promptly and to act.
    • Adhering to all legislative requirements.
    • Ensures that all health and safety rules are met and acts actively by addressing any safety concerns which may be harmful to self or other employees.
    • Conducts risk assessments for ail solutions that are provided to ensure that standards are maintained, and risk is minimised for staff, equipment, product, and the company.
    • Provides information and participates in formal SHEQ audits.

    Requirements:

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    •  A completed Matric qualification.
    • Preference will be given to candidates with a National Diploma in Engineering/ Draughting, coupled with a Project Management qualification.
    • Must have acquired at least 5 years’ of practical draughting experience on the 2D and 3D AutoCAD packages (inclusive of Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, instruments, site plans, service layouts, etc.).
    • Must have 5 years’ of experience in an Engineering related supervisory role – preference will be given to candidates who have been exposed to project execution within this role.

    SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

    • Computer literacy - MS Office and SAP reporting.
    • Fully proficiency in draughting software e.g. AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
    • Fully proficiency with Drawing office standards.
    • Knowledge on the maintenance of drawing management system (drawing register, drawing numbering system, revisions, transmittals).
    • Must be proficient in compiling drawings related to civil, structural, mechanical, piping, and E&CI.
    • Experience with computerised Project Management systems.
    • Advanced knowledge of plant drawings and P&ID interpretation.
    • Analytical reporting writing skills.
    • Risk assessment skills.
    • Contractor management skills.
    • Administrative knowledge - able to manage administrative duties effectively.
    • Communication skills– able to converse at all levels of people.
    • Able to effectively manage installation, commissioning and starting-up new installations.
    • General knowledge of pyrometallurgy and wet chemical refining processes would be a benefit.

    Projects Manager (JHB East Rand)

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Budget establishment and submission based on projects that are scoped and costed according to the user requirement.
    • Specification and as set out by the customer (budget accuracy).
    • Manage costs by ensuring that approved annual Project budgets are adhered to, and that costing is as efficient as possible (budget adherence, management feedback).
    • Ensuring cost efficiency, accuracy of components and add technical input where required (scope completeness).
    • Work with the Procurement Department to ensure compliance to the necessary tendering and procurement processes at Rand Refinery (System Compliance).
    • Specific Mechanical Engineering inputs into projects and operations.
    • Ensure that the technical solutions provided, enable targeted plant efficiency and productivity.
    • Technical solutions consider maintenance requirements that facilitate effective repairs and maintenance.
    • Technical solutions provided enhance plant reliability and plant efficiency and total cost of ownership.
    • Continuous improvement of systems and processes by identifying and suggesting alternative solutions that increase throughput, reduce utility consumption, and reduce the maintenance effort (overhead cost reduction).
    • SHEQ management by ensuring that equipment, machinery, people and products are protected from risk and harm.
    • Identify hazards promptly and to act.
    • Adhering to all legislative requirements. (SHEQ manager feedback, manager feedback, no LTI's, near miss reporting).
    • Adhering to all internal SHEQ standards and requirement (SHEQ Manager feedback, Manager feedback, no LTls, near miss reporting).
    • Conducts risk assessments for ail solutions that are provided to ensure that standards are maintained, and risk is minimised for staff, equipment, product, and the company (zero LTl, MTI or similar incidents).
    • Training is to be provided for all technology that is provided that varies in any way from procedure or is new.
    • Effectively manage the contractors in line with the SHEQ the Project structure - no labour disputes or unresolved disciplinary matters related to performance and delivery to customer, 360-degree report.

    Requirements:

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • A completed Matric qualification.
    • A Mechanical Engineering qualification (BEng/ BSc. qualification would be advantageous).
    • Must have acquired at least 8 – 10 years of working experience, of which 5 years should be at a management level and 2 years within the project management fraternity.
    • ECSA professional registration would serve as an advantage.

    SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

    • Computer literacy - MS Office and SAP reporting.
    • General knowledge related to all fields within the Engineering discipline which includes but is not limited to Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electrical or Civil fields.
    • General knowledge of the LRA, OHS Act and SHE requirements relating to policies, procedures, regulations and permit compliance to ensure compliance in these areas of safety and management of people.
    • Fault finding and investigations - understand techniques with high level of proficiency.
    • Management knowledge - able to manage effectively Installation and commissioning knowledge relating to the understand, dynamics and processes of starting-up new installations.
    • General knowledge of pyrometallurgy and wet chemical refining processes would be a benefit.
    • Express potential through adaptability, applied learning, initiating action, innovation, impact and work standards.
    • Interact effectively through communication at all levels, building relationships, negotiation and gaining commitment.
