    Client Relationship Manager

    Key qualification and experience required for the Client Relationship Manager:

    • 3+ years of experience in a Bank
    • Marketing experience (preferable)
    • FAIS-RE5 certificate
    • BCom Finance/Accounting
    • In-depth knowledge of AML, FICA, and the Company's Act
    • Ability to understand and analyse financial statements

    Key duties required for the Client Relationship Manager:

    • Completion of applications for new facilities
    • Financial analysis
    • Understanding market and industry risk
    • Initiating credit reports
    • Ability to market to existing and new clients
    • Strong understanding of products and services offered by banks/financial institutions

    Risk and Compliance Manager

    • The role is required to ensure that an adequate Enterprise Risk Management Framework is in place, maintained and working effectively in line with applicable legislation and regulations.
    • To collaborate with Internal Audit and other assurance activities in ensuring an integrated approach to risk management. The incumbent will be primarily responsible for facilitating risk management as a second line of defence in the day-to-day operations.

    Key Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities

    • Responsible for working with the Head of Risk and Compliance in facilitating the complete lifecycle of the ERM process with a focus on integrating risk management techniques into the Company's strategy and operational processes.
    • Assist in the development and annual planning for ERM activities, budgets, and resources.
    • Undertake a review of the Group ERM and Compliance Management Frameworks at regular intervals to ensure alignment with industry best practices.
    • Perform reviews of the risk management process to continuously improve the existing Risk Management process.
    • Facilitate risk assessments across functional areas and maintain risk registers.
    • Monitor emerging risks and all major risk movements and related management actions.
    • Collate and report risk events and corrective action taken.
    • Develop systems to facilitate risk monitoring and risk improvement by ensuring that the risk identification process is aligned with the Group's targets and objectives.
    • Ensure that all risk categories are included in the risk assessment process, including the appropriate risk indicators on the risk registers; as well as the identification of relevant legal and regulatory compliance requirements.
    • Monitor incident management and provide trends, performance monitoring, and assurance.
    • Monitor regulatory environment to identify changes applicable to areas of coverage and advise business on those changes and related obligations.
    • Maintain an ongoing profile of key risks and emerging trends across the business.
    • Monitor and remain abreast of risk management, compliance, and legislative developments impacting the organisation.
    • Consult on an ongoing basis with operational managers to ensure conformance with applicable laws and regulations.
    • Maintain compliance risk management plans and monitoring thereof.
    • Reporting to Management, and other stakeholders on risk, opportunities, and compliance requirements

    Job Experience:

    • Sound knowledge and experience in risk quantification methodologies and impact analysis.
    • Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in the risk management field.
    • 3 - 5+ years of experience in compliance risk management, and other similar governance areas.
    • Sound knowledge of and experience in the relevant regulations and laws, particularly relating to anti-money laundering as well as anti-bribery and corruption.
    • Experience facilitating risk workshops.

    Education:

    • Relevant B degree / Qualification in Risk Management/ Business Administration
    • Relevant B degree / Qualification in Mathematics/ Statistics/ Actuarial Sciences or Economics would be an advantage
    • A Certified Risk Management Practitioner/Professional (CRM Prac/Prof) would be an advantage.

    Lead Data Scientist

    • Statistical modelling, machine algorithms and optimisation techniques - NB
    • Experience with Python and R, or related coding languages (advantageous)
    • Experience in cloud computing platforms (AWS) - Preferable
    • Understanding CI/CD best practices
    • Ability to move between tools and languages
    • Financial Services/Commercial industry experience

    Key duties for the Lead Data Scientist:

    • Implement and develop procedures for the extraction and cleaning of data
    • Develop and test models, algorithms, and optimisation techniques
    • Implement and maintain models for the production environment
    • Ensure sound scientific processes are followed
    • Collaborate with teams to identify new projects ensuring deliverables and timelines are achieved
    • Responsible for the development and training of new data scientists and engineers
    • Continually stay up to date with the latest techniques and best practices to ensure business development
