    What will you do?

    • Sell life insurance telephonically

    What will make you successful in this role?
    Qualification & experience :

    • Grade 12 qualification 
    • At least 2 years’ experience within a Sales Outbound Call Centre, selling long term insurance (with targets attached to the sales) 

    Knowledge and skills :

    • Good understanding of Financial Services Industry related legislation and regulation 
    • Understanding of sales processes and servicing industry 
    • Outbound Sales experience is required 
    • Fluency in English and one other South African official language 
    • A clear criminal and credit record 
    • Commitment to the FAIS Act and meeting Fit & Proper qualification requirements 
    • Willingness to work overtime in order to achieve targets.

    Simeka - Investment Consultant: Research (JHB)

    What will you do?

    • Accountable for a portfolio of institutional investment consulting clients and plays a pivotal role in driving investment research for the team. Must operate independently on most clients in the portfolio.

    Key Responsibilities

    Work with Principal/Senior to provide innovative, competent investment advice to a large portfolio of clients:

    • Provide innovative input into client portfolios on portfolio construction, including strategic asset allocation and asset manager selection.
    • Perform quantitative analysis on client portfolios for the Principal/Senior consultants to be able to provide appropriate advice on client portfolios, including performance monitoring.
    • Quantitative investment scenario analysis
    • Assist with agendas and minutes on large clients as required

    Quantitative and qualitative investment research for the team and report writing:

    • Strategic asset allocation modelling to consider asset allocation on an efficient frontier.
    • Quantitative and qualitative asset manager research
    • Collaborate with other parts of the wider Sanlam group on general investment, market and economic research.

    • ESG analysis as required
    • Build complex excel templates for detailed investment performance analysis and portfolio construction scenarios
    • Write qualitative and quantitative due diligence reports
    • Provide strategic input to the team on various investment matters
