• To oversee and manage the VAF rate arbitrations and reversals team, ensuring customer service levels are continuously maintained and improved.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5 - 8 years’ experience within a product house (preferably in VAF).

• To prepare credit applications and dealer approvals in alignment with risk and quality requirements that conform to Standard Bank’s lending policy

QUALIFICATIONS

• Qualification: RE 5 FAIS Certification required and relevant degree
• Experience in the preparation of credit proposals and analysing financial statements.  
• Liaises with the Business Development Manager / Relationship teams, clients and other stakeholders in order to understand the customer solution in order to prepare appropriate credit applications.
• Prepares relevant management information (including exposures) as input into further reporting.
• Pro-actively manages credit risk associated with the CAF importation transactions (e.g., forward exchange contracts, supplier payments, marine insurance, etc.).
