• An opportunity exists for a Senior Marketing Facilitator tjoin our dynamic and exciting Truworths Marketing team. This person will work closely with the Digital Design Team, the Development Team and the broader Ecommerce Team tconfigure and publish content for digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities    

• Loading and publishing content tvarious digital interfaces (at first mainly the ecommerce website) using a Content Management System (CMS)
• Setup of bespoke pages and site features timprove customers’ shopping experience and increase conversion rates
• Quality assurance (QA) checks before publishing tensure that the content renders as intended across different devices
• Setup of A/B tests for content
• Optimize content for search engines (SEO) thelp the company's website rank higher in search results
• Collaboration with Digital Design team tensure that content meets best practice standards

Qualifications and Experience    

• Relevant Marketing Qualification
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Marketing team, involved in web or email content management
• Experience working in a CMS, setting up and publishing digital content
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention tdetail
• Ability twork independently and as part of a team.

Advantageous:

• Knowledge of SEprinciples and best practices
• Experience using the Admin Console in Oracle Commerce Cloud
• Basic html knowledge
• Experience running A/B tests
• Experience in applying dynamic content rules and personalisation of web experiences
• Experience with email marketing platforms
• Experience in Analytics tools like Google Analytics, Looker Studio, SEM Rush etc.

Job Description    

• Truworths has an exciting opportunity for an Email Coder in our Marketing department. The Email Coder is responsible for coding, building/developing and testing email communications.

This role will be based at our Truworths Head Office in Cape Town.
Key Responsibilities    

• Utilize HTML and CSS to code marketing emails;
• Set up and test complex email campaigns with dynamic content in the email software platform used by the business;
• Apply the best practices in email development, email compliance regulations, and accessibility;
• Perform QA on all coded emails;
• Ensure identical rendering across browsers, ESPs, and devices;
• Troubleshoot HTML, CSS, and other performance issues;
• Proactively work with teammates to improve processes and work methods for greater efficiency;
• Perform coding and database maintenance tasks as required.

Qualifications and Experience    

• Relevant tertiary qualification;
• Relevant email development work experience, using html and css to code emails from scratch;
• Experience working in one or more email tools to set up email templates;
• Experience setting up dynamic content rules in email software.
