• Responsibility and accountability of all aspects of the store
• Key operational performance assessment

• POS process management

• Process improvement
• Operational planning
• Customer care (incorporating the brand)
• Merchandising principles and marketing implementation
• Operations policy and procedure
• Ensure that sales and all expenses are in line with budget

Qualifications and Skills 

• Matric / Grade 12
• Computer literate
• Relevant Degree/Diploma (advantage)
• At least 5 years' experience in the Agricultural Sector in a Retail Management role
• Experience in selling whole goods and spares
• Above average knowledge of management principles
• Planning, leadership and organizing skills
• Interpersonal and communications skills
• Assertive and analytical thinker
• Ability to train and develop employees
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a pressurized environment

Responsibilities and Duties

• Constantly monitor the machine operations to see that the finished products and components are matching with the quality and quantity constraints
• Oiling and greasing the machines and ensuring their proper workability
• Constantly monitor machines for problems and troubleshoot problems
• Follow production instructions of supervisor to ensure quality
• Regularly clean and maintain equipment and work area
• Completion of operational and production documentation
• Maintaining a safe working area

Qualifications and Skills

• Matric / Grade 12
• Grain silo operator certificate or 3 years relevant grain silo operational experience
• Computer literate
• Understanding and knowledge of PLC panels
• Previous machinery / mechanical background (advantageous)
