    Maintenance Clerk

    Main Duties and Responsibilities

    • Performs minor carpentry, plumbing & electrical repairs
    • Assists with resolving facilities and office space-related problems and other office services tasks and projects assigned
    • All small or large general repairs throughout the building, which include electrical faults, plumbing issues, replacing light bulbs.  Assess issues and revert to manager if contractor is required to fix
    • Complete special projects as assigned by the Maintenance Manager, and all other duties as assigned
    • Assist with re-configuration of training room & atrium for events
    • Oversee any contractors coming to sight to do maintenance repairs

    ICT Infrastructure Architect

    Description

    You will collaborate with various teams, including network administrators, system administrators, security specialists, and developers, to ensure the seamless integration of hardware, software, and network components. Your role is instrumental in creating a robust and future-proof ICT infrastructure that meets BDO's present and future technology requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Infrastructure Design: Develop and maintain the overall ICT infrastructure architecture, including data centres, servers, storage systems, network components, and virtualisation technologies.
    • Ensure the infrastructure aligns with BDO's business needs and growth plans.Technology Evaluation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to ICT infrastructure.
    • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools that enhance system performance, security, and efficiency.Capacity Planning: Analyse current and future infrastructure requirements based on business projections.
    • Conduct capacity planning to ensure the ICT infrastructure can accommodate future growth and demands effectively.
    • Security and Compliance: Design and implement security measures to safeguard BDO's ICT infrastructure from potential threats and breaches.
    • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies.
    • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, development, and business stakeholders, to understand their requirements and incorporate them into the infrastructure design.
    • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
    • Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and implement robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the availability and resilience of critical systems in the event of a disaster or unexpected outage.
    • Vendor Management: Evaluate and engage with technology vendors to procure hardware, software, and services necessary for the ICT infrastructure.
    • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
    • Performance Optimisation: Monitor the performance of ICT systems regularly, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimisations to improve overall system performance and efficiency.
    • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of the ICT infrastructure architecture, including system configurations, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
    • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Provide expertise in resolving complex technical issues related to the ICT infrastructure, assisting other teams as needed.
    • Availability Management: Assessing and documenting risks to service availability at regular intervals. Determining and documenting service availability requirements and targets, by considering relevant business requirements, service requirements, SLA’s, and risk. Monitoring and recording service availability results and comparing to targets. Investigating and addressing instances of unplanned non-availability

    Requirements

    Qualifications and Skills:

    •  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    •  Proven experience as an ICT infrastructure architect or a similar role with a track record of successful infrastructure implementations.
    •  In-depth knowledge of networking, servers, storage systems, virtualisation, and cloud technologies.
    •  Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards.
    •  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically.
    •  Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
    •  Project management experience is desirable.
    •  Industry certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, VMware VCP, Microsoft MCSE, etc., are a plus.
    •  TOGAF certification will be an advantage.

    Primary Purpose of the Job

    We are searching for a strategic Marketing Specialist who specialises in planning and implementing marketing strategies, to join our professional auditing and advisory services firm.
    The Marketing Specialist will play a critical role in developing and executing marketing strategies aligned with our multi-year sector and service line business strategies in a business-to-business (B2B) environment. This may involve market research, developing media plans, creating content, and managing campaigns.
    The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of integrated marketing in the professional services industry, be well-versed in industry best practices; and possess the creativity and drive to help us achieve our strategic business objectives. They must also be familiar with the latest marketing software and technologies. Additionally, they may be required to analyse data to identify opportunities for improvement and adjust campaigns accordingly

    Main Duties and Responsibilities

    • Integrated Marketing: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans and campaigns that support the firm's multi-year sector and service line business strategy.
    • Competitor Analyses: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify target markets, industry trends and client needs, and use insights to inform marketing strategies.
    • Sectors, Service lines and Regions: Provide active support to Sectors, Service lines and Regions generally as well as in relation to a specific portfolio. This is to elevate the BDO brand and its offerings; and enhance its reputation and positioning in the market. Cross-functional teams; Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sector leaders, service line partners, and business development, to create and execute effective marketing initiatives.
    • Content: Create compelling marketing collateral, including thought leadership content, industry reports, case studies, and client success stories, to position the firm as a trusted advisor in the market.
    • Digital: Drive digital marketing efforts, including content marketing, email campaigns, social media marketing, and search engine optimization (SEO), to generate leads and increase brand visibility.
    • Events & Platforms: Create and manage industry-specific events, webinars, conferences and speaking engagements to enhance the firm's thought leadership position and engage with key stakeholders.
    • Website & social media: Develop and maintain the firm's website content and digital content, ensuring effective communication of the firm's value propositions, services, sectors and expertise.
    • Business development: Collaborate with the business development team to align marketing efforts with their activities and support their client acquisition efforts.
    • Measurement: Monitor and analyse marketing performance metrics, track campaign effectiveness, and provide regular reports to stakeholders, making data-driven recommendations for optimisation.
    • Regulatory & Industry trends: Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging marketing strategies to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
    • BDO Global: Ensure that the global relationships within the marketing mandate are fostered and maintained.

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business or a related field

    Experience

    • Minimum of 5 years’ marketing experience, preferably in the professional services industry

    Job Competencies

    Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies in a B2B environment.

    •  Strong understanding of auditing and advisory services and the ability to translate technical concepts into compelling marketing messages.
    •  Excellent knowledge of B2B marketing principles, strategies and best practices.
    •  Proficiency in digital marketing platforms and tools, including marketing automation, CRM systems, email marketing, social media management, and SEO.
    •  Experience in creating thought leadership content, industry reports and case studies.
    •  Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
    •  Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
    •  Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
    •  Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, compliance, and ethics in auditing and advisory services is highly desirable..
