    Kitchen Assistant

    ROLE PURPOSE

    • The Kitchen Assistant is responsible for ensuring all kitchen areas, meeting rooms, and stationery points are replenished daily with the required consumables, cutlery, crockery, and hygiene products. The role supports the Stock Controller with stock control, issuing, and receiving of goods, and contributes to maintaining clean, safe, and well-managed storerooms.

    MAIN OUTPUTS
    Stock Replenishment & Control

    • Perform daily replenishment of kitchens, meeting rooms, and stationery points.
    • Issue and receive stock using handheld devices.
    • Inform the Stock Controller promptly when stock levels are low.

    Conduct weekly stock counts.

    • Ensure kitchens remain fully stocked with refreshments, cutlery, and crockery.
    • Collect and distribute stock to relevant buildings.
    • Issue fruit, milk, and hygiene consumables (to Prestige weekly).

    Storeroom Management

    • Maintain storerooms in a neat and clean condition.
    • Arrange weekly storeroom cleaning.
    • Ensure safe stacking and correct storage of products.
    • Manage expiry dates and rotate stock (FIFO method).
    • Conduct quality checks on fruit.

    Equipment & Facilities Care

    • Clean coffee machines daily.
    • Ensure stock-related equipment is handled responsibly.
    • Report faults or shortages to the Stock Controller immediately.

    Collaboration & Support

    • Work closely with the Stock Controller to manage stock levels efficiently.
    • Support colleagues in meeting replenishment deadlines and quality standards.
    • Uphold teamwork and communication in daily team meetings.

    QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS / KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

    The Applicant must meet the following requirements:

    • Matric (Senior Certificate)
    • Prior experience in a kitchen, stock control, or facilities environment (advantageous)

    Building Technician

    ROLE PURPOSE

    • To implement an effective maintenance system within customer facilities and ensure SLA delivery

    MAIN OUTPUTS

    • Identify maintenance risks on Client’s property and equipment for evaluation and resolution
    • Drive timeous execution of effective maintenance strategies i.e. planned, preventative, corrective and emergency maintenance
    • Ensure optimum utilization of available resources in various maintenance works
    • Ensure timely delivery and appropriateness of parts and spares for effective maintenance execution
    • Manage 3rd party contractors
    • Plan and execute minor projects

    QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS / KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

    • Professional Registration/Trade Technical / General building maintenance / Contractor Management / HSE
    • Secondary Education Matric (Senior Certificate)
    • Licenses Valid SA Drivers License
    • Experience 3-5 years relevant experience
    • Strong Administrative / planning / organizational skills

    • Must be computer literate

    Principal Engineer

    Job Summary:

    • We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Principal Engineer to oversee and manage all reactive, preventative, active and planned maintenance including asset life cycle and continuously work on the improvement of service quality, rationalization of services, efficiencies and effectiveness of maintenance strategies and repairs, manage the operations employees, budget etc.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • On time planning and execution of all Planned Maintenance in the region.
    • Availability and reliability of regional assets and buildings.
    • Management of breakdowns, planned outages and implementation root cause failure outcomes.
    • Reporting and reporting framework.
    • Budget and cost management.
    • Management and completion of reactive work and requests.
    • Vacancy, employment equity and people development.
    • Custodian of engineering assets in region.
    • Ensure that all assets receive the necessary life cycle and enhancement services
    • Ensure that assets are controlled, operated and to the necessary operational specifications
    • To ensure that all engineering services are efficiently and effectively maintained and controlled at all times according to the specifications of the Client as stated in the applicable agreements.
    • Take full legal responsibility and accountability for all engineering functions and assets in the region related to the contract.
    • implementing maintenance and operational standards to comply with service standards specified
    • Report on status of assets and buildings in region.
    • Manage and implement innovation and other initiatives to improve availability, reliability and asset life cycle.
    • Management and measurement of staff performance and their development accordingly.
    • Manage engineering staff in region.

    Requirements:

    • Grade 12 (Matric)
    • Bachelor of Technology or Bachelor or Science or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
    • Must be a Candidate GCC Factories
    • Must be part of an Engineering body i.e. PrEng /. PrTech
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior engineering role.
    • Proven experience in managing and leading high-performing engineering teams.
    • Code B Driver’s License
    • Minimum 7 years’ experience in Electrical or Mechanical engineering
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Facilities management
    • Strong technical background and have good management and leadership skills

    Artisan HVAC (Longmeadow)

    ROLE PURPOSE

    • To carry out timeous and quality planned, preventative and emergency maintenance on specified Air-conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation and Water Reticulation units to give effect to the business maintenance strategy and Client service standards

    MAIN OUTPUTS

    • Implement equipment service specifications in accordance with Client and Company requirements
    • Install & commission air-conditioning and water reticulation equipment in accordance to specification
    • Conduct maintenance on air-conditioning & water reticulation equipment as per schedule, preventative or emergency fault rectification
    • Perform inspection of facility, air-conditioning equipment on site, identify areas of risk and report back for rectification
    • Ensure that preventative or emergency fault rectification complies with the relevant legislation, SLA and job plans
    • Ensure quality of work and timeous completion of all field request
    • Provide constant feedback to the Supervisor & Client on restoration of operations

    • N3 - N6 in Mechanical Engineering
    • Trade-Test in HVAC (Air-conditioning & Refrigeration) 5 years’ experience as an artesian
    • Matric (Senior Certificate)
    • Valid SA Driver’s License
    • 5yrs relevant experience in air-conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation equipment maintenance field & digital control systems, min 5yr experience in Trade
    • Maintenance of air-conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation equipment & water reticulation systems
    • MS Word, MS Excel & MS Outlook (Intermediate skill level)
    • Knowledge of OHS Act
