    Maintenance Technician

    Main Purpose of the Job

    • The Technician will be responsible for carrying out technical tasks including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of Booyco systems and equipment. The role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring safety and compliance at all times.

    Education, experience and competencies

    • Qualified Artisan (Red Seal) Electrician or Automotive Electrician
    • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in a technical or field services role.
    • Own Transport and valid driver's license (willing to travel and work overtime)
    • Medically fit to work on a mine (Underground and surface)

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform installations, maintenance, and repairs of equipment in line with company standards.
    • Complete service reports, job cards, and COC documentation accurately and on time.
    • Troubleshoot technical issues on site and escalate where necessary.
    • Ensure adherence to safety regulations, procedures, and customer requirements.
    • Maintain high standards of workmanship and represent Booyco Electronics professionally.

    Account Manager

    Main Purpose of the Job

    • The Account Manager is responsible for managing client relationships, ensuring service delivery, and achieving commercial and operational targets for assigned accounts. The role acts as the primary link between Booyco Electronics and the client, ensuring SLA compliance, safety, and service excellence. This position is pivotal to business retention and growth, and it requires proactive issue resolution, effective communication, and the ability to create 'Raving Fans' through exceptional performance.

    Education, experience and competencies

    • Matric + Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electronics / or related technical field.
    • 5 years’ experience in a technical account management or client-facing role within the mining or heavy industrial sector.
    • Proven ability to manage key accounts and deliver against SLAs.
    • Strong technical knowledge of electronic/electrical systems and equipment.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
    • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and expand relationships with assigned customer accounts, acting as the primary point of contact.
    • Conduct regular site visits and client meetings to maintain strong relationships and resolve issues proactively.
    • Ensure compliance with contractual service level agreements (SLAs).
    • Monitor and report on account performance, identifying risks and opportunities.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Drive growth by cross-selling solutions to existing clients and identifying new business opportunities.
    • Compile and submit accurate month-end and quarterly client reports.
    • Maintain a minimum of 80% client satisfaction rating on feedback surveys.

    Training Specialist

    Job Description
    Main Purpose of the Job

    • Booyco Electronics is seeking an experienced Training Specialist to design, develop, and deliver advanced technical and product training across the organisation. This senior role focuses on Booyco Proximity Detection Systems, electronic products, and instrumentation technologies, ensuring training interventions meet the highest technical, compliance, and competency standards.
    • The Training Specialist will collaborate with engineering, product development, and operational teams to build organisational capability, strengthen learner performance, and contribute to operational excellence.

    Education, experience and competencies

    • Registered Assessor and Moderator (essential).
    • Advanced technical qualification in Electronics, Instrumentation, or Engineering (preferred).
    • 5–7 years’ experience in technical training (electronics, mining, or industrial sectors).
    • Strong knowledge of electronic systems, diagnostics, and technical fault-finding.
    • Proficiency in instructional design, competency assessments, and facilitation.
    • Skilled in digital learning tools and modern training technologies.
    • Excellent facilitation, communication, and coaching skills.
    • Medically fit with ability to travel nationally.
    • Valid Driver’s Licence (essential).

    Responsibilities

    Training Programme Development

    • Design and develop advanced technical training programs for employees, customers, and partners.
    • Create training manuals, e-learning modules, and simulations.
    • Ensure content meets industry, compliance, and product requirements.

    Facilitation & Competency Assurance

    • Deliver training via classroom, hands-on, and digital platforms.
    • Conduct competency assessments and certify learner proficiency.
    • Provide ongoing technical coaching and mentoring.

    Needs Analysis & Evaluation

    • Collaborate with Training Manager, engineering, and product teams to identify training needs.
    • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and KPIs.
    • Recommend improvements to training methodology and content.

    Technical Authority & Alignment

    • Act as subject matter expert for Booyco products.
    • Ensure training content aligns with engineering and product updates.
    • Support cross-functional initiatives requiring technical training expertise.

    Operations Administrator

    Main Purpose of the Job

    • The Operations Administrator is responsible for providing administrative and operational support across the Procurement, Planning, Stores, Production, and Repairs functions. The role ensures that all operational transactions are accurately processed in Syspro and other approved business systems while maintaining the integrity of inventory, procurement, and production records. The incumbent prepares operational reports, maintains accurate documentation, and supports inventory control and purchasing activities. They ensure that reliable operational information is available to support informed business decisions and day-to-day operations. The role also promotes operational efficiency by ensuring compliance with company procedures and identifying opportunities to improve business processes.

    Education, experience and competencies

    • Matric and Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Bunises Administrator, Logistics Warehouse or Inventory Management.
    • Minimum three (3) years' experience within an operations administration, procurement, production, warehouse or manufacturing environment.
    • Experience working on ERP systems (Syspro preferred).
    • Experience in inventory administration and stock control.
    • Experience compiling operational reports and analysing data.
    • Experience supporting procurement and production functions.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide administrative support to the procurement function by ensuring that purchasing transactions are processed accurately, supplier information is maintained and procurement documentation is managed in accordance with company procedures.
    • Support production planning activities by ensuring accurate production and planning information is captured, maintained and communicated.
    • Support effective inventory management by maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring all stock movements are correctly recorded.
    • Coordinate the administrative processes relating to repairs, ensuring accurate records, timely updates and efficient workflow management.
    • Provide management with accurate operational information that supports planning, decision-making and continuous improvement.
    • Ensure all operational documentation is accurately maintained, securely stored and readily available for operational and audit requirements.
    • Identify and implement improvements that enhance operational efficiency, reporting accuracy and process effectiveness.
    • Ensure all operational activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, quality standards and legislative requirements.
