    Business Intelligence (BI) And Analytics Specialist/Analyst

    Main purpose / objective of the position:
    We seek a talented and experienced BI and Analytics Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence solutions that leverage data to provide insights into business performance and opportunities. The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain data analytics and reporting solutions. The candidate should be able to use data analytics and visualisation tools to transform complex data sets into meaningful and actionable insights for decision-makers. The BI and Analytics Specialist/ Analyst will require a combination of technical skills and business knowledge and will work with stakeholders across the organisation to define business requirements, develop data models, create dashboards, and provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

    Role Objectives \ Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, and implement BI solutions using data analytics and visualisation tools
    • Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, data analytics and reporting solutions to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor business performance.
    • Explore large and complex data sets to develop actionable insights.
    • Identify trends and patterns in data to provide actionable recommendations to improve business operations.
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into data-driven insights.
    • Develop data visualisations that are intuitive and easy to understand by stakeholders
    • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
    • Monitor and ensure the accuracy and consistency of data across platforms and systems
    • Develop and maintain documentation related to analytics and reporting solutions
    • Understand data engineering principles and tools and liaise with the BI developers to construct data models and solutions effectively.
    • Identify areas for improvement in data analytics and reporting processes and make recommendations for enhance.
    • Stay up-to-date with emerging BI and analytics technologies and trends and make recommendations to improve business processes and capabilities
    • Train and educate stakeholders on the use of BI and analytics tools and best practices

    Experience / Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Business Administration, or related field
    • 3+ years of experience in developing and implementing BI and analytics solutions

    Knowledge Required:

    • Aptitude for figures and financial skills.
    • Adequate knowledge of specific discipline.
    • Legislation and regulations with regards to municipal/government supply and services requirements.
    • Industry knowledge specific to area of accountability.
    • Computer Literacy.
    • Negotiations skills.
    • Organising skills.

    Competencies Required:

    • Strong experience with data visualisation and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, SAP BI, etc
    • Experience with programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R is a plus
    • Strong knowledge of data modelling, data warehousing, and ETL processes
    • Experience with cloud-based data analytics solutions (e.g. AWS, Azure) is a plus
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities in data.
    • Excellent critical thinking and communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an agile environment with a focus on continuous improvement.

    To manage the successful delivery of an integrated Facilities Management solution to the client in line with the Service Level Agreement.
    The timely placement of purchase requests and delivery of items to meet customer order requirements.

    Required

    Accounts Payable Controller

    Main purpose / objective of the position:

    • To serve as a financial support function to meet the Utility Business units’ goals and objectives. To ensure that all payments are paid on time in an accurate and efficient manner and in accordance with generally accepted accounting practices so that the Business unit’s expenditures recordings are accurate and timely.

    Role Objectives/Responsibility:

    •  Preparation of payment proposal (Draw Down)
    •  Decision on which accounts to pay/withhold
    •  Preparation of payment files (SAP proposal to DME upload)
    •  Accurate filing of proposal and proof of payment
    •  Clear amounts due or refundable on terminated accounts prior to status change
    •  Liaising with Councils/Municipality/Eskom on specific invoice queries
    •  Request inter-account transfers from Councils/Municipalities/Eskom – follow all steps until Balance Sheet      Reconciliation
    •  Analysis of drawdown report by ensuring all action plans to address queries have been implemented

    Experience / Education:

    •  Senior Certificate with Accounting as a subject

    Project Manager

    Main purpose / objective of the position:

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Project Management

    • Overseeing Project Management delivery, processes, and operational and commercial models at the client site.
    • Reporting on financial performance, identifying risk items and analysing KPI performance to identify any gaps in resource or capability at specific site/s.
    • Leads project delivery resources/team (typically larger more experienced team) providing project guidance and direction to achieve project goals.
    • Builds strong relationships with customer and wider stakeholders to ensure high satisfaction with project delivery.
    • Manages all facets of project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk) for individual Facilities Management projects including planning, design, construction, occupancy and closeout.
    • Responsible for billing (including documentation required for revenue recognition), accounts receivable (AR) collection.

    CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • The successful candidate will have experience of managing multiple projects directly and also experience/or ready to take the step to oversee management of projects in remote locations with the support of the in-country account team.
    • Typical project would be chiller replacement, HVAC works, lighting, boilers, sustainability projects (water, energy, fossil fuel decarbonization), refurbishment projects including MEP and finishes.
    • Builds sound relationship with customer business partners is key, including understanding wider strategy and their ongoing needs for their sites.
    • Ensure that contract is a collaborative model and focused on the long-term relationship.
    • The successful candidate will become an integral part of our overall account team for the region and will be a support for ongoing operations when needed as well as project.
    • Strong attention on budget, quality, timeline and safety are a must have.

    EDUCATION:

    • Relevant degree in a technical and or industry area of study.
    • Supplementary Project Management qualification.
