    Council Laison Officer - Johannesburg

    Main purpose / objective of the position:

    • Provide a highly effective and efficient council liaison and technical service that will ensure that queries logged in terms of utility accounts for client are followed up and concluded correctly and timeously to assist the client in achieving uninterrupted utilities supply at the lowest cost.

    Role Objectives \ Responsibilities:

    • To receive queries and requests for investigations from clients and colleagues
    • Research, analyse and produce an effective plan of action to resolve queries
    • Conduct field audit investigations
    • Timely capture of all the queries in the relevant tracker
    • Immediately action and handle all follow up, negotiation, planning and coordination with Municipalities and/or Landlords to effectively implement corrections
    • Maintain query tracker with up-to-date meaningful comment on previous actions, next steps and scheduled dates sheets and provide status updates to completion at least bi-weekly
    • Analyse meter readings and tariffs to ensure cost reflective recovery
    • Prepare reconciliations as and when required
    • Ensure deadlines are met in accordance with the SLA’s as per the contracts
    • Compile monthly reports accurately and timeously
    • Report any abnormalities in terms of costs and recoveries
    • Ensure all changes are properly added to the workflow and are implemented within SLA timelines

    Experience / Education:

    OHS Advisor - Johannesburg

    Main purpose / objective of the position:

    • To implement, maintain and continuously improve the OHS management systems requirements at allocated client offices, as well as support of client teams working at the client’s facilities. Coordinate and monitor OHS implementation, client legal compliance, OHS Act No. 85 of 1993 and related issues. Support in the maintenance and improvement of the client’s OHS management systems. Carry out the day-to-day operations of facilities OHS functions, in support of the client and contribute to the application of effective business OHS management through the provision of technical support. Be the SPOC for the client with regards to the portfolio’s OHS operations in your allocated buildings. Prepare monthly and ad-hoc OHS technical and performance reports for the Group QHSE Manager and/or the client.

    This position has the authority to:

    • Identify and report non-conformances, unsafe acts and conditions to relevant management.
    • Investigate OHS concerns and recommend corrective actions.
    • Stop any activity that is deemed unsafe, or have the potential to harm the environment or result in serious property damage.

    • Implement best practices to continuously improve OHS function.

    Experience / Education

    • National Diploma is Safety Management or equivalent

    Reliability Engineer - Johannesburg

    Main purpose / objective of the position:

    • Reliability Engineer is responsible for the reliability improvements of the site equipment delivering world class reliability through technical assurance to the assets.
    • Responsible for managing safe working behaviour of the reliability team, demonstrating a high regard for personal and team EHS performance, sustaining a zero overdue status of investigations and actions.
    • Meet the site target of zero overdue compliance actions in terms of Quality actions and documentation updates.
    • Produce and implement the site reliability policies for all equipment and systems, ensuring all planned routines are correctly specified and critical spares are available to allow the maintenance team to effectively complete tasks.
    • Site lead for all engineering Root cause analysis and implementation of long-term engineering solutions to prevent reoccurrences, manage KPI’s including Run Hours, Mean Time Between Failure (MBTF) and Cost to repair of equipment and systems.
    • Work with the responsible engineers to Implement technical standards assuring all assets remain fully compliant with cGMP status Supply reliability status monthly reporting figures, analyse trends and develop improvement projects to address the issues of concern, make continuous improvement a way of life.
    • This role will also own the site Probability of Failure on Demand (PoFOD) Report and issue twice annually.
    • Manage all team personnel issues and concerns and through performance management identify talent to develop as well as holding the team to account.
    • Contribute to site capital investment process, highlight all engineering projects which have a benefit to the site Responsible for developing and implementing the site predictive/preventative engineering policies.

    Experience / Education:

    • Industrial Engineering Degree
    • 3-5 years’ experience in functional analysis (FMEA; FHA; FFA)
    • Preventative/Planned maintenance optimization
    • CAFM systems experience and proficiency
    • A Chartered Mechanical Engineer with 3-5 years relevant asset technical and reliability experience and a demonstrable track record of delivering increased reliability and technical assurance.
    • The role requires a high level of concern for standards and compliance with regulatory requirements and the ability to manage the safe working practices of the reliability team.
    • A keen investigative nature to always achieve the root cause of equipment or systems/procedural failures.
    • Ability to gather data and analyse reliability trends to develop effective improvement projects. Experience of implementing predictive maintenance policies and increasing asset availability are key skills for this role.

    Technical Manager - East London

    Main Purpose/ Objectives of Role

    • Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the activities of the assigned buildings or client premises in the portfolio.
    • Oversees service delivery to client, procures services, handles third party service contracts, and directs maintenance procedures.
    • Ensures that all buildings, grounds, and equipment are well maintained and in optimal working condition.
