    Capital Manager

    Purpose of the job

    • The primary focus of the actuarial function is to contribute to the successful delivery of the business strategy by providing insightful actuarial analysis, whilst also fulfilling its regulatory responsibilities and ensuring policyholders’ interests are adequately protected.
    • The Capital Manager supports the Head of Capital Management to deliver the capital operations within the actuarial function.
    • The main focus of the role is on developing and embedding a capital management framework, including asset and liability management, and driving continuous process improvement.
    • There is a need to transform the function to be more insight led through better use of technology, automation and more sophisticated analytical techniques.

    Key Responsibilities

    Data

    • Support the development, updating and maintenance of capital management data sources within Actuarial to ensure the data remains appropriate, accurate and complete, including carrying out appropriate validation checks.
    • Identify opportunities and suggest improvements to make better use of data and produce more insightful actuarial analysis.

    Risk & Capital

    • Support with the design and implementation of an appropriate investment strategy to maximise returns within an agreed market risk appetite framework.
    • Monitor investment performance and work with the Investment team and Group Treasury team to ensure the strategy is executed effectively.
    • Support the implementation and embedding of an effective asset & liability management framework, including matching interest rate risk, currency hedging, etc.
    • Support the production of a detailed capital plan on a quarterly basis, including projecting SII balance sheets and solvency capital requirements as part of the ORSA.
    • Support with developing and embedding an effective return on capital (RoC) framework, including working with the lines of business to agree a manageable and effective way to calculate the RoC for new and existing insurance deals.
    • Support with producing recommendations on capital optimisation relating to reinsurance purchases, investment strategy, new business strategy, shareholder dividends, etc.
    • Support with risk management activities, including designing, building and operating scenario modelling tools to assist with the ORSA.
    • Support with the production of documented capital management outputs for sign-off by the Chief Actuary, any relevant committees, and the external auditors (as required).

    Reserving

    • Support the quarterly and year-end calculation processes, including providing peer review of analysis when required.

    Other

    • Mentor and manage team members, including hiring, training, performance management and quality assurance of their work.
    • Automate processes relating to data preparation and transformation, data visualisation, reporting, etc and generate concise summary dashboards to share with the business.
    • Support with reinsurer requests for data and respond to queries promptly.
    • Ensure professional qualifications and any CPD requirements are adequately maintained.

    Knowledge, skills and experience required

    • A nearly / newly qualified actuary or qualified by experience.
    • Significant non-life capital experience.
    • An analytical mindset, commercial awareness and strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • An ability to work proactively and autonomously to take ideas from proof of concept through to delivery.
    • Able to deputise for the Head of Capital Management where required.

    • In this role, you will lead the development, management, and delivery of a compelling content marketing strategy across key audiences.
    • Working closely with regional and global marketing teams, business stakeholders, and specialist agencies, you will oversee the creation and distribution of high-impact, audience-centric content across multiple channels, including earned, owned, and paid media.
    • This role demands a strategic content marketer with a talent for storytelling, proven experience in B2B2C environments, and a passion for creating impactful, audience-driven content that drives brand relevance and deepens engagement across diverse markets.

    Key Responsibilities

    Content Strategy & Planning

    • Develop and execute a regional content marketing strategy aligned with global brand positioning, regional business goals, and market-specific insights.
    • Collaborate with regional marketing across growth and lifecycle, as well as cross functional teams to align content initiatives with key campaigns, launches, and regional objectives.
    • Identify and cultivate high-impact content partnerships with leading industry bodies, business, travel and luxury lifestyle publishers, and associations.
    • Adapt and localise global content and campaigns for EMEA audiences, ensuring cultural resonance and market relevance.

    Content Creation & Management

    • Create, commission, and manage high-quality content across formats including but not limited to thought leadership articles, press releases, eBooks, case studies, videos, infographics etc.
    • Ensure content reflects brand tone of voice, values, and is optimised for SEO, engagement, and conversion.
    • Manage regional agencies, media outlets, freelance writers, and creative/association partners to deliver content needs and secure impactful media coverage.
    • Maintain an “always-on” content marketing calendar aligned with business priorities to drive demand generation, nurture leads across the funnel with persona-targeted content and reinforce brand positioning.
    • Develop and execute a proactive regional PR strategy that enhances the reputation of the Collinson and Priority Pass brands. Channel Management & Distribution
    • Plan and manage content distribution across owned (web, email, social), earned (PR), and paid channels in EMEA.
    • Work closely with social media and digital teams to execute, boost reach and visibility of regional content.
    • Identify and leverage key industry and partner platforms for regional thought leadership and amplification.

    Performance Measurement & Reporting

    • Define and track KPIs for content strategy and performance
    • Use tools to track, analyse, and report on the effectiveness of content and PR activity, demonstrating ROI, reach, engagement, and contribution to business outcomes.
    • Provide regular updates and insight reports to key internal stakeholders across the business.

    Stakeholder Collaboration & Relationship Building

    • Foster strong working relationships with global and regional marketing teams, EMEA leadership, and cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment of messaging, campaigns, and communications priorities.
    • Act as the regional content lead, collaborating with global brand/content teams to ensure alignment.
    • Champion content excellence across the region, advising on messaging, storytelling, and best practices.

    Knowledge, skills and experience required

    • 6–8 years’ experience in content marketing, marketing communications, or a related discipline, ideally within a regional or global B2B2C environment.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with a strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to craft compelling content across multiple formats (e.g. articles, social, thought leadership, video scripts, campaign copy).
    • Proven track record in delivering omni-channel content marketing campaigns—including social media, PR, thought leadership, partnerships, and digital content that supports brand and commercial objectives.
    • Strong project and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to prioritise, collaborate across functions, and deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines.
    • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring clarity, consistency, and accuracy across all communications and channels.
    • A genuine passion for storytelling, content strategy, and audience engagement, with a commercial lens and brand-led mindset.

    Marketing Executive - Cape Town

    Purpose of the job

    • As a Marketing Executive for the EMEA region, you will play a key role in executing marketing initiatives across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
    • Your responsibilities will include brand awareness, lead generation and the development of compelling, result driven campaigns that attract new clients, drive pipeline growth and support the deliver Collinson solutions to our existing customers.

    Skills and Experience

    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a marketing role, with a strong track record in B2B marketing including lead generation, account-based marketing, brand awareness, and nurturing campaigns
    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, digital marketing, or related fields (preferred).
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across teams and external stakeholders
    • Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with proven capacity to manage multiple projects and prioritise to meet tight deadlines
    • A collaborative team player with a creative mindset, initiative, and a strong sense of ownership.
    • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; experience with Salesforce CRM is a plus.
    • Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally, keeping stakeholders informed through regular updates and effective communication.
    • Proactive and hands-on approach to tasks, with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn and adapt.
