    Bulk Planning Scheduler

    Applications are invited for the above-mentioned position to be based in the Planning, Procurement & Logistics (PP&L) Function, Adam Tas in Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will report into the Site Master Planner.

    Key Performance Areas Include (but Are Not Limited To)

    • Effective Production Scheduling of Primary processing which enables:
      • Optimal weekly scheduling rhythms including change-over matrices
      • Optimal capacity utilization of cellars processing & Augmentation in factory uptime
      • Assist with compilation of cellar processing volumes budgets/forecasts
    • Ensure Primary Plant Reliability & Stability
      • Cellar attainment - Volume throughput & Production adherence – Order scheduling
    • Drive Service Levels and Working Capital Management
      • Superior service levels
      • Compiling bulk volume budgets/forecasts
      • Reduce the cost of inventory in Bulk stock holding, including bulk consumables.
    • Ensure Planning Master Data Accuracy
      • Bill of Material (BOM) and Planned speeds on SAP & Bizware
    • Support and Drive Innovation & Supply Chain Excellence
      • Lead and govern bulk change control (New Products, Product Upgrades, Line capability and capacity changes).
      • Actively participate in Mini-Business activities and drive world class best practice.

    Minimum Requirement
    The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:

    • National Diploma / NQF 6 in Supply Chain & Operations Management.
    • Fully competent in using production scheduling tools on an ERP suite.
    • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint)
    • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks in an organized and structured manner.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
    • Sound interpersonal skills

    Advantages

    • Previous experience in production scheduling & planning.
    • Previous experience of primary production Planning & Scheduling
    • Working knowledge of planning on SAP-MM.
    • Ability to analyse, interpret and compute sets of data
    • Ability to work under pressure.
    • Ability and willingness to work extended hours if and when required.
    • Must have reliable transport to and from work.

    Admin Clerk

    Applications are invited for the above-mentioned position in the Cellars Department, based at Adam Tas in Stellenbosch. The successful incumbent will report to the Admin Controller.

    Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:

    • ICC – Primary Cellar, Bulk Stock Take, Vat and Supply Chain
    • MCC Bottle stock take
    • Monthly stock take (bulk stock take, Consumables etc.)
    • Goods issue and Goods Receipt of MDC, DGO production orders & MCC Labelling orders
    • Follow up on outstanding and unpaid invoices
    • GR invoices and delivery notes for the site
    • Bulk handling processes- intakes, filtrations, issues, transfers etc. on SAP
    • Assist winemakers with Ad Hoc SAP transactions during peak periods
    • Complete reports for the manager
    • Requesting of consumables, stationery and cleaning material for the cellars
    • Uploading of DA32&187 on brandcrafters.
    • Completion of timesheets leave forms and casual request for the department.
    • Ensure SAWIS Certification for site

    The successful candidate must have the following qualification, skills and experience:

    • Minimum Grade 12 qualification
    • A relevant tertiary qualification (Secretarial, Office management, PA management)
    • 2-3 years relevant working experience
    • Computer literate in MS Office and SAP
    • Be able to act professionally and in confidence at all times
    • Be able to work independently and under pressure
    • Strong numerical aptitude and analytical abilities are essential
    • Attention to detail is essential
    • Good interpersonal relationship skills
    • Task orientated ability to take initiative and solve problems
