    Manager, Regional Retention, Road Logistics

    SUMMARY

    • The main purpose of a Regional Sales Retention Manager role is to retain and grow existing customer relationships within a specific region, ensuring continued revenue, customer satisfaction, and long-term business loyalty.

    Job Related Requirements

    • Must have 3+ years' experience in a Sales and/ or Retention Management role in the Logistics Transport and/ or Supply chain Industry
    • Strong inter-personal and motivational skills 
    • Punctuality and good time management skills are elements of this position
    • Attention to detail 
    • Good administrative and reporting skills
    • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment/technology
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Ability to work without supervision
    • Fluent in English (written and oral)

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Must be able to work with regional management team to achieve the regional result for the financial year
    • Meeting the regional sales revenue targets by leading a combined sales team for the region.
    • Assist and drive the retention strategy to ensure we sustain the agreed annual retention budget.
    • Assist and drive the management and sustainability of an effective sales growth pipeline in the region of qualified prospective.

    • Identify and develop the necessary skills within the sales team to convert prospects to clients within a shorter lead time.

    Supervisor, Sites, Road Logistics

    Main Purpose of the Role

    • Ensuring that all operational procedures are in place and operates smoothly and effectively.
    • Support administration functions as required to meet client requirements.
    • To manage and measure performance, manage all subordinates to ensure high morale and productivity.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Grade 12
    • 5 years experience within logistics working on a client site of which 2 years must be at supervisor level - team size of min 5  (non-negotiable)
    • Excellent knowledge of MS excel (will be tested)

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Oversee overall site operations
    • Capture Freight on BluJay and Client Zone 
    • Follow up on collections and deliveries 
    • General Query management 
    • Liaise with clients on queries, deviations and exceptions (i.e. internal and external) 
    • Monthly Reports  
    • Planning of daily operational staff where required 
    • Daily reports to be completed and sent to assigned client staff 

    Other Duties

    • SLA monitoring  
    • Management of Sites and resources 
    • Verification and submission of Asset registers 
    • Time Sheets 
    • Planning of Leave / Yearly and daily 

    Supervisory responsibilities

    •  Allocate and manage staff resources according to changing needs

    Warehouse Operator, Operations, Contract Logistics

    Minimum Requirements

    • Grade 12
    • Intermediate experience in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
    • Minimum of 2 years experience in WMS CargoWrite

    • Create and maintain various reports in line with KPI and contractual obligations.
    • Control, action, investigate and complete CAPA document’s if need be, this includes but is not full consignments, error percentages, KPI requirements, etc.
    • Practice and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

    • Monitor and report on Attendance of staff
    • Perform duties in other departments as per operational requirements or when required by management.

    • Meets all client specified KPI’s and complies with Quality system requirements.
    • Keeps Manager advised of progress or problems requiring attention daily. Holds regular meetings with warehouse staff to assess the group’s overall status. Discusses ideas for improvement. Keeps staff Informed of new developments.
    • Assists in the physical operations as needed.
    • Delivers results by leveraging the skills of the right people at the right time.
    • Maintains high degree of motivation in team members to retain focus of providing highest levels of customer satisfaction
