    Accountant - Groblersdal

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • BCom Accounting degree or diploma in accounting
    • 3-5 years relevant experience
    • Advanced Excel skills
    • In depth knowledge of Accounting and Financial statements
    • Knowledge of SAGE Pastel Evolution will be added advantage.
    • Understanding of the IDU Budget and Forecasting tool will be an added advantage.
    • Advanced computer literacy

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensure that all transactions are captured accurately on Evolution.
    • Reports on creditors’ transactions
    • Monitors and matches payments with orders, requisitions, GRVs, invoices and expenses.
    • Balances intercompany accounts, including issue or capture of intercompany invoicing.
    • Raises journals and reconciles creditors’ ledger.
    • Reporting on creditors’ age analysis
    • Captures the month’s sales.
    • Reporting on debtors’ age analysis
    • Performs general ledgers for management reporting.
    • Processes and manages VAT and VAT returns.
    • Prepares general ledgers for management reporting.
    • Fixed assets register maintenance and posting of depreciation journal.
    • Posting of bank transactions and reconciliations
    • Preparation of monthly management accounts on the prescribed format.
    • Monthly reporting to various stakeholders on a prescribed format
    • Ensuring the stock costing on the system is correct.
    • Ensuring that the stock quantities are correct.
    • Monthly accounting of stock movements and balancing to the control account.

    Human Resources Executive

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or equivalent
    • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in HR, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
    • Sound knowledge of local labour laws and regulations
    • Experience in organisational development, change management, and payroll administration
    • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Matric required
    • BCom degree with Finance and/or Agriculture as a subject(s) advantageous
    • 2-5 years of work experience
    • 5-10 years of experience in a sales position within agriculture/farming operations
    • Ability to understand and analyse financial statements within the agricultural sector

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Agric/ BSc Agri / BCom degree
    • Preferably grown up on a farm or have worked on a farm.
