    Security Operations Manager - Mbombela

    Purpose of the role:

    • Reporting to the Area Manager.
    • The overall purpose of this position is to manage several Operations in covering the following key areas, client liaison, HR /IR matters, fleet management, expenses control, Investigations and to ensure the posting of Security officers, that all site security requirements are adhered to and that the Client’s needs are efficiently and professionally met at all times.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Matric/Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent. PSIRA Grade A registered.
    • Valid Driver’s License with own reliable transport is required.
    • At least 10 years’ experience in the security industry.
    • At least 5 years’ experience in the Operational Security Management structure.
    • Working knowledge of the Firearm Act and Firearm competency.
    • Staff management experience is required.
    • Computer literacy with expert knowledge of the complete Microsoft package.
    • No criminal record or any pending cases.
    • Sound planning, administration, interpersonal communication and client liaison skills are required.
    • Strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as good interpersonal and communication skills, are essential.
    • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management and its requirements.
    • Must reside in Mbombela.

    Key Performance Areas: (not totally inclusive):

    • Maintaining good relations between Fidelity Security Services Group and the Client with regard to security services rendered
    • Managing allocated areas to ensure that contractual requirements are met as stipulated by the client
    • Ensuring that all Security Officers on the site meet the contractual requirements as stipulated by the Client
    • Constantly evaluating the service levels provided and making recommendations to the Client regarding the improvement of services
    • General management and supervision of security staff to ensure that required performance is met at all times
    • Dealing with all required administration matters
    • Liaising daily with management on various operational issues
    • Liaising daily with Regional Management on various Operational matters
    • Ensuring that all HR related queries are dealt with promptly
    • Formulate disciplinary actions
    • Ensuring the timeous submission of employment forms to the Regional Office.
    • Submitting relevant weekly / monthly incident and general reports to Management

    Operational Manager - Mining Industry

    Minimum Requirements 

    • Grade 12 (Matric) Certificate of equivalent. 
    • Minimum 3 - 5 years’ Operational Management experience. 
    • Experience in the Security & Protection Services within the Mining Security Sector.
    • Must have mining site knowledge. 
    • PSIRA Grade A/B registered and accredited, up to date. 
    • No Criminal Record or any pending cases. 
    • Valid driver’s license with own reliable transport.

    Training Officer

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Driver’s License (EB)
    • Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Packages
    • Grade 12 / NQF 4
    • PSIRA Grades E-A Instructor
    • Facilitator registration with ETDP SETA

    Accounts Payable Supervisor

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Managing the GRIR and ensuring this kept at a minimum
    • Ensuring the AP clerks request supplier statements timeously in order to submit payment reconciliations, reconciling between statement and SAP vendor line activity report
    • Managing the AP Ageing by ensuring that no items are evident in 90 and 120 days without acceptable explanations
    • Managing all debit balances evident on the AP Ageing each month unless acceptable explanation is provided and approved my Management
    • Assisting with queries and old outstanding invoices evident on Supplier statements where applicable
    • Managing the process to ensure all invoices are paid within contractual payment terms
    • Managing the process to ensure no vendor accounts are under threat of suspension
    • When liaising with business, all means of communication for query resolution is required, particularly face-to-face interaction where possible in order to ensure accurate and speedy resolution of said queries
    • Managing the process to ensure all processes and policies are adhered to pertaining to the P2P process
    • Checking of payment files (DME) in SAP and ensuring the accuracy of these prior to submission to Cashbook
