    Technical Team Lead (Western Cape)

    Description
    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Collaborate closely with product leadership to ensure decisions align with achieving and maintaining product-market fit across one or more squads.
    • Support and enhancement of an established, multi-faceted technology platform, and associated 3rd party integrations.
    • Coordinate with Technical Product Manager, Solutions Architects, other teams, and QA to deliver on business requirements
    • Proactively identify challenges that impact scalability or business direction, communicate these effectively, and drive necessary adaptations to overcome them.
    • Maintain composure during critical incidents or emergencies, providing clarity and direction amidst challenges.
    • Lead and influence others to bring order and clarity, ensuring structured progress instead of chaos.
    • Propose and advocate for engineering strategies within the collective or discipline, effectively gaining alignment and driving initiatives forward.
    • Delegate effectively to balance workloads while using these opportunities to mentor and elevate others within the team.
    • Take a long-term view in driving ongoing improvements for the systems and processes within the team.
    • Plan and manage individual and team capacity to meet goals and deliverables efficiently.

    Requirements

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    Integration Analyst (Western Cape)

    Description
    RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Responsible for developing applications using a low-code development platform, setting up and configuring systems for each client's unique requirements.
    • Delivering enterprise applications with minimal traditional coding needed
    • Working with three key el ements: form builders, pre-built templates, drag-and-drop visual interface, entity builder
    • Researching and analyzing internal business processes with the scope of optimizing and automating them
    • Building technology like a software engineer, but faster and smarter using productivity tools 
    • 3rd party integrations
    • Plan and plan work with the rest of the team  

    Requirements
    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Relevant IT Tertiary Qualification
    • 5+ years’ experience 
    • Low code, API testing, or similar role, for example, QA Analyst
    • Technical Support, specializing in software and problem diagnosis
    • Knowledge of APIs and experience in software integration
    • Familiar with Postman
    • Understanding of the SDLC 
    • Agile working practice, structured project management, and communication  
    • Ability to diagnose application issues and to decide what can be done with low code instead of traditional coding (80/20 rule)
    • Intuitive about how an idea can be turned to an actual working application using drag and drop visual environment
    • Familiarity with pre-built templates, drag-and-drop visual interface, entity builder

    Senior System Analyst (Western Cape)

    Description
    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Analyse business requirements and translate them into detailed system specifications and technical documentation.
    • Collaborate with Solution Architects to define and maintain system interfaces, workflows, and integration points.
    • Produce system-level functional specifications, data mapping documents, and sequence diagrams to support development.
    • Ongoing analysis and documentation of existing systems
    • Identify and document edge cases, error handling requirements, and system constraints.
    • Review business requirement documents (BRDs) and flag inconsistencies, gaps, or technical feasibility issues.
    • Validate proposed system designs with development teams to ensure clarity and technical alignment.
    • Decompose epics and features into structured system requirements aligned to sprint-ready development tasks.
    • Manage traceability between business requirements, system specifications, and test cases.
    • Own and maintain the system requirements baseline throughout the development lifecycle.
    • Participate in solution design walkthroughs and provide clarifications during development and testing.
    • Support QA teams by reviewing test plans and ensuring coverage of all functional and system scenarios.
    • Perform impact assessments for change requests or enhancements on existing system components.
    • Maintain up-to-date system documentation aligned to released functionality.
    • Assist in the definition of non-functional requirements (NFRs) such as performance, security, and availability.
    • Work across multiple projects or initiatives simultaneously, managing system analysis deliverables to agreed timelines.

    Requirements
    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Minimum of 10 years’ relevant industry experience, preferably within a Fintech environment

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE / TECHNICAL SKILLS:

    • Strong understanding of system analysis principles, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and agile methodologies.
    • Proficient in writing functional specifications, system workflows, and sequence diagrams.
    • Proficiency with tools for mockups/wireframes (e.g. Figma, Lucidchart)
    • Experience with tools such as Asana, , Postman, mermaid.js, MS Azure DevOps/Atlassian Tools, etc. 
    • Familiarity with API documentation, data mapping, and system integration patterns 
    • Solid grasp of databases and data structures; ability to understand SQL and data models.
    • Understanding of non-functional aspects such as security, performance, high availability, and scalability.
    • Experience working in fintech, financial services, or highly regulated environments preferred.
    • Good knowledge of software architecture and cloud-native platforms (AWS or Azure) is advantageous.
    • Understanding of process, flow and context diagrams. 
    • Familiarity with ETL processes and data mapping
    • Understanding of high volume transactional systems and concepts eg. Idempotency
