    YOUR ROLE

    • Ensuring that all engineering plant and equipment, within the Alrode is electrically and mechanically maintained in an optimal state of operation.
    • Perform electrical and mechanical tasks on plan and equipment, as required, to ensure sound operations.
    • Compile job cards and maintain registers and QA schedules.
    • Ensure all relevant parties are informed of potential plant and equipment defects, malfunctions and downtime.
    • Ensure all safety requirements, relating to plant, equipment, storage, personal tooling, working environment and clothing are adhered to and maintained as to comply with the prescribed SHE requirements.
    • Collection of urgent supplies to minimise disruptions.
    • Sound cooperation / assistance with engineering personnel as to ensure optimal plant and equipment efficiencies / productivity.

    • Interdepartmental liaison regularly as to ensure efficiencies / productivity.
    • Liaison with external suppliers on specific requirements.
    • Ensuring accurate SHEQ system compliance.

    Your Skills

    • Served a recognised apprenticeship as a Millwright / Electrician.
    • Sound mechanical knowledge.
    • Be able to issue certificates of compliance.
    • Operational experience within a classified environment.
    • Ability to carry out gas and electric welding.
    • Strong interpersonal relationship skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure.
    • Ability to organise in the absence of the manager.
    • Must be able to work shifts / standby.

    YOUR ROLE

    • Responsible for Procurement.
    • Tracking and Maintaining of all Inventory PO's
    • Manage schedule of PO Receipts and oversee in-transit inventory
    • Identify current and potential product shortages; develop and execute recovery plans
    • Effectively Communicate Supply Shortages with Business teams.
    • Review and resolve any GR/IR differences with PO /Invoices matching
    • Interpret Finance forecasts to develop a robust S&OP forecast process
    • Review planned production in APO SNP – Highlight any OOS or Distress SKU’s.
    • Monitor inbound shipments/ planned production versus forecast and make necessary adjustments to maintain SLA and inventory targets.
    • Ensure that Master is properly maintained in APO DP which includes life cycle management.

    Your Skills

    • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain management.
    • 1 to 3 years relevant experience is required.
    • Strong Analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Attention to details.
    • Proficient in MS Office.
