Applications are invited from candidates who have successfully completed their National Certificate N6 (Information Technology) at a TVET College or a relevant qualification from a South African university and require practical experience.

Minimum Requirements:

•  Relevant certificates in Information Systems (A+ recommended)  Valid Code B driver's licence  Computer literate Must be fit and healthy.

Technical Competencies: 

• The successful candidate must demonstrate the potential to be trained to provide first-line ICT support to users, install PC’s and peripheral devices, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, network cable installation, pro-active equipment maintenance, and IT asset management.

Monthly stipend: R6 500 for graduate students and R4 000 for students

• Able to work in harsh weather conditions A brush cutter certificate as well as a Professional Driving Permit, will serve as recommendation One years’ relevant experience, preferably in facility maintenance or conservation, will serve as recommendation.

• Cut grass Prune and irrigate trees Erosion control Cut and remove alien vegetation
• Erect barricades to ensure the rehabilitation of dunes Maintain slipways and tidal pools Spray herbicide
• Maintain roads and hiking trails Estuary Control Issue boat permits Operate machinery Maintain vehicles and equipment
• Tow boats and trailers Keep a logbook Dune Management River control.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 Computer literate Able to communicate in two of the official languages of the Western Cape Two years’ relevant experience required.  

Duties:

•  Assist  with  Valuation  Administration  Compile  reports  Prepare  journal  data  
• Capture  journal  entries  Processing of rates clearance and valuation applications
• Assist with the calculation of refunds Calculation of rebates and  assist  with  the  maintenance  of  the  rebate  register  
• Update  property  records  Perform  monthly  reconciliations
•  Capture refunds on the system Handling of enquiries and record keeping

Duties:

• Activate alarm Access control Keep the landfill site and surrounding areas clean and tidy
• Keep municipal roads  clean  and  accessible  
• Daily estimate  of  garden  refuse,  as  well  as  building  rubble  
• Repair  fences Separate building rubble and garden refuse
• Remove household and garden refuse Remove litter next to the fences of the solid waste site
