    Description

    • The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for analysing business needs, designing and developing learning programmes and updating existing programmes where needed.
    • Furthermore, the candidate will be responsible for facilitating learning programmes (including learnership and management programmes) as well as evaluating the effectiveness post implementation.

    Showroom Operations Administrator - Homechoice (Northern Suburbs (Cape))

    Description

    • To participate in Wowing our internal customer through the accurate and timely allocation of work to the showroom administration team and tracking of the same thereby allowing management access to the right information in a timely manner to effectively manage performance.

    What you will love doing in this role

    Operations Administration

    • Engage with the showroom regional managers and showroom managers to understand and set out stock related priorities for the day/week etc and assignment of tasks as per priority.
    • Engage with showroom manager to understand resource allocations for various tasks to ensure work is distributed appropriately.
    • To actively engage with the showroom manager/Stockroom clerk to plan and produce a daily forecast work plan for the next day based on tasks and priorities and ensure daily goals are established at a person and task level.
    • Track operational metrics eg Count progress/Liquidation during execution of task and escalate problematic performance to line manager.
    • Manage timelines for counts and liquidation controls
    • Follow ups on Liquidation with the Courier to ensure delivery of ALL stock handed over to coutier by showroom arrives at DC.
    • Executes ad hoc tasks as per the business requirements.
    • Manage ageing of all tasks created by Inventory department and ensure all items closed within SLA.
    • Gain a high level of process and system knowledge to perform 1st line of troubleshooting for staff.
    • Act as escalation point for all system related issues to WMS analyst and ensure timely closure of issues.
    • Provide data and or reporting for daily, weekly, monthly reporting requirements.
    • Monitors the Showroom inventory team and individual outputs in order to maximise the efficiency of the department.

    Administration

    • Timely and accurate administration of all departmental trackers pertaining to people and operational process.
    • These include but are not limited to attendance, absenteeism, leave registers, departmental data capturing eg performance, efficiency, effectiveness etc.
    • Provide data and or reporting for daily, weekly, monthly reporting requirements.
    • Records minutes and manages closure for minutes within agreed timelines.
    • Provide inputs for the line manager for signing off of time sheets.

    Inventory Cycle Counter - Homechoice (Northern Suburbs (Cape))

    Description

    • The ideal candidate will ensure bin integrity through continuous and accurate counting of stock across all counting methods.

    What you will love doing in this role

    Operations

    • Accurately perform stock counting activities as per work instructions.
    • Ensure all full pallet locations are maintained as single sku locations through counting activity.
    • Removal of all damaged stock from set stock and ensure transacted to correct areas.
    • Perform RBT stock relocation prior to counting in line with work instructions.
    • Ensure all locations in DC are counted twice per year.
    • Perform follow up investigations/ counts against stock errors identified in DC.
    • Find lost stock in DC.
    • Perform monthly counts
    • Systems and Processes
    • Understand use of applications across all counting modules eg cycle count, exception count etc.
    • Advanced knowledge of SOP for inventory Management.

    Talent Management

    • Develop your own skill set to be competent in the following DC activities - bin to bin movements( transfers), split drops, picking.
    • Improving PC skills by ensuring development plans are in place and training is attended ( on the job training or E- Learning).
    • Drive a culture of accuracy and accountability and report incidents of non conformance.
    • Must actively participate in a committee in DC ( H& S, Fun Committee, 5S etc.
