    Senior Full Stack Engineer

    Your Role at Impact:

    • As Senior Full Stack Engineer you will work on the Affluent SaaS Platform where you will drive and take ownership of various technologies to build features which will enable large-scale processing of data to support the Impact platform.
    • You will form part of an Agile / Scrum team where you will mentor squad members. This role assumes a certain independent capability to investigate and learn new technologies for the platform. 

    What You'll Do:

    • Review business needs, design, implement, test and perform code review for various features for the Impact Platform
    • Gain and maintain a deep understanding of the business and product domain to deliver effective solutions
    • Provide transparency through daily Scrums, Kanban (or similar)
    • Identify, raise and address system vulnerabilities and technology blockers for the squad
    • Optimize code and streamline processes to improve performance and platform stability and reduce overall system load
    • Review error messages and fix bugs in a timely manner
    • Work in a distributed and agile environment
    • Responsible for continuous improvement of developer productivity

    What You Have:

    • Bachelor in Computer Science or similar field of study
    • 3+ years in a similar role
    • 3+ years experience working on Enterprise Solutions using NodeJS (essential)
    • 3+ years experience working with Eclipse, IntelliJ, Application Servers, WebServices, Data Management Systems (essential)
    • 3+ years experience with SQL and database development, familiarity with Data Modeling concepts
    • 3+ years experience in Full Stack development, including front-end, back-end and databases
    • 3+ years experience with JavaScript and Front-end technologies
    • 3+ years experience working with Large Data Volumes and distributed systems (advantageous)
    • 3+ years experience working in a Start-up or Internet business (advantageous)
    • Familiarity with Web Services (REST or SOAP)

    Senior DevOps Engineer

    Your Role at Impact:
    As Senior DevOps Engineer you will homogenise development and operations, and create a collaborative and complementary development culture.

    The successful incumbent will be working hands-on to create and develop automated, containerised cloud application platforms, and design and implement DevOps processes that use those platforms. To act as a subject matter expert for troubleshooting and resolving complex, multi-tier architecture problems that span across a number of different platforms.

    This role reports to the Head of Engineering, Affluent by Impact.

    Senior Backend Engineer

    Your Role at Impact:
    As a Senior Software Engineer in the Affluent business unit, your focus will be on delivering features through planning, designing, implementing, testing and deploying. You will be self sufficient with an understanding of ancillary services and infrastructure.

    You will have experience across multiple languages with practical experience in common architectural patterns, implementing blackbox and whitebox testing and complex integration testing frameworks.

    You will also be working closely with the SSO to prioritise, and understand the strategic direction of the product and help team members with planning, design and implementation.

    What You'll Do:

    • Develop, test and maintain software for the Platform
    • Build meaningful unit, functional and integration level tests for the software built
    • Develop code both independently and while pair programming
    • Write and maintain design, user and test documentation
    • Perform triage functionality through verification and fixing of bugs
    • Build customer and non customer facing code.
    • Support software testing and quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality deliverables
    • Create SQL for Tech Updates and ensure this is ready for review

    • Mentor and give guidance to less senior staff to grow careers

    Senior Frontend Engineer

    Your Role at Impact:
    As Senior Frontend Engineer in the Affluent business unit you will be responsible for development and maintenance of Affluent member portal UI's. You will partner with other team engineers to assist in projects requiring UI research or development - for both new features and existing legacy UI code.

    You will also be expected to constantly follow the latest industry trends in technologies being used and always keep up to date with new versions of web browsers, web technologies such as CSS, HTML and Javascript and constantly apply what is currently best known practices in the industry here at Impact.

    What You'll Do:

    • Use a variety of programming languages and frontend technologies in order to create user-friendly web pages
    • Maintain and improve existing UI code
    • Work in team with other developers such as back-end developers and UX designers
    • Always stay consistent with our UX and brand guidelines
    • Make suggestions for better solutions to problems
    • Keep abreast of latest and emerging technologies
    • Attend company training and educations

    UX Designer

    Your Role at Impact:

    As a UX Designer, you will contribute both to the product specification and product implementation processes. You have the opportunity to implement new features into the UI. You will become a champion for UX processes.

    What You'll Do:

    • Translate concepts into wireframes and mockups that lead to intuitive user experiences.
