    Finance Assistant to Operations Director

    Basic Requirements:

    Formal Tertiary education:

    • Grade 12

    Experience:

    • Experience with use of MS Office (Comprehensive understanding of MS Excel imperative)
    • Good communication and organizational skills required
    • Good time management skills

    Languages:

    • English – Read, write and speak (required)
    • Drivers Licence: Code B

    Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

    • Assisting with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the Finance functions & duties
    • Supporting benefits administration & recordkeeping
    • Assisting with preparation of VAT submissions to SARS
    • Assisting with preparation of compliance documentation and journals for the  Jendamark Group and related entities
    • Assisting with the preparation of APDP permits and claims
    • Assisting with preparation of Management accounts
    • Assisting with preparation of related finance reports
    • Travel Coordination
    • Personal Administration for the Operations Director
    • Providing administrative support by entering, formatting & printing information and organizing work
    • Supporting the Company Code of Conduct and all Company policies
    • Preparation and execution of ad hoc finance related tasks
    • Ability to work as an individual when required and as a team with a common end goal.

    Odin Education: Content and Technical Support Agent

    Basic Requirements:

    • Formal Tertiary education:
    • Grade 12 or equivalent
    • Diploma or degree in Education would be advantageous

    Experience:

    • Previous experience in a call centre, customer service, or technical support role is preferred
    • Familiarity with educational platforms or e-learning environments is an asset
    • Experience working with primary and high school learners is highly desirable.

    Skills:

    • Placed full time at a secondary school/facility
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages IsiXhosa or IsiZulu)
    • Ability to explain complex concepts in simple, learner-friendly language
    • Proficiency in using computers and online learning platforms
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.

    Knowledge:

    • Basic understanding of primary and high school educational content across various subjects
    • Knowledge of common technical issues related to online learning (e.g., connectivity, platform navigation)
    • Familiarity with ticketing platforms is advantageous.
