    Operations Coordinator

    Job Description    

    • Join Lactalis South Africa at our Centurion Gauteng Office and take on the challenge of an Operations Coordinator.     • In this role you will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our 3PL (third-party logistics provider) ensuring seamless warehouse and distribution activities.
    • You will play a key part in aligning daily execution with Lactalis’s strategic objectives supporting efficiency service excellence and cost control across the supply chain.

    Required Skills    

    • Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Supply Chain discipline)
    • 4-6 years’ relevant experience in various supply chain operations in either multi-national(s) or major South African organizations

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient execution of Sanulac and Vista Business.
    • Manage RTS from 3PL warehouse to Clayville Warehouse.
    • Capture RTS orders in Rapid trade and Faster Order Capture.
    • Capture and manage internal stock transfers between internal warehouses.
    • Ensure high customer service level through coordination and collaboration with 3PLs.
    • Peak periods and holiday planning with 3PLs.
    • Plan 3PL visits in line with SLA requirements.
    • Ensure cost control is monitored and adhered to.
    • Manage 3PL distributor performance according to SLA.
    • Auditing of 3PL processes, safety, quality, and documentation to ensure 100% compliance
    • Proactive and frequent communication to improve visibility of operations to stakeholders
    • Travel as required within the 3PL network to fulfil operational responsibilities.
    • Oversee claims process to ensure all customer claims are settled within agreed timelines

    Required Skills    

    • Diploma or equivalent is required.
    • Advanced excel skills.
    • At least 5 Years experience in stock controlling in FMCG environment
    • Working knowledge of BPCS and INFOLOG would be advantageous.

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Control and investigate stock transactions, allocations, movement, and adjustments.
    • Full responsibility of the following points: Variance report; Reconciling of monthly stock as well as stock in transit; Actual stock counts; Factory claims; Adherence to stock procedures.
    • Investigation and reconciliation of all identified inventory discrepancies
    • FEFO principals
    • Manage and monitor Stock at risk and highlighted to sales team for action.
    • Control warehouse dumps.
    • Control Regrade transaction.
    • Track and trend cycle count losses daily.
    • Monthly stock take, control, and compliance
    • Daily spot checks
    • Monitor daily stock availability to avoid trims.
    • Variance analysis and reporting
    • Control and submit Un-managed location.
    • GIT managed and cleared.
    • NQL movement postings done and submitted daily.
    • Commentary on NQL done daily (stock pack)
    • Daily, Weekly, and Monthly KPI’s and reports requested by management on all allocations, movement, and adjustments.
    • Maintain clear and effective communication with Stock team and Warehouse Manager.

    Marketing Manager - Austral Africa

    Job Description    

    • As a Marketing Manager for Austral Africa, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing innovative marketing strategies to enhance our brand presence and drive business growth in the region.
    • This role demands a deep understanding of the local markets, consumer behaviour, cultural nuances specific to Austral Africa, and a strong inclination towards generating and deploying innovative solutions aiming at delivering profitable and sustainable turnover growth.
    • The ideal candidate will possess the ability of executing /doing/delivering, in addition to the leadership skills typically demanded by a regional role.

    Required Skills    

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
    • At least 12 years Marketing experience within an FMCG environment
    • At least 6 years in a managerial role (longer experience in a managerial role will be considered a plus).
    • Proven experience in developing innovative marketing strategies and executing successful campaigns.
    • Strong understanding of the Austral African market, cultural nuances, and a passion for innovation.
    • Strong project management and presentation skills
    • Ability to communicate at all levels (business & customer interface)
    • Interpret and understand complex financial, consumer and shopper data
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
    • Fluency in English and ideally one or more local languages of the Austral Africa region, would be an advantage.
    • Availability to travel at least twice a month to one or more AustralAfrican markets

    • Conduct thorough market research to grasp the competitive landscape, market trends, customer needs, and opportunities in Austral Africa.
    • Analyse consumer behaviour and adapt marketing strategies to meet local preferences and expectations, in coordination with our regional and central Market Research offices;
    • Analyse in market panel data to understand performance and shape marketing strategy and activities.

    Strategy Development and Innovation:

    • Develop and implement effective, innovative marketing strategies tailored to Austral Africa, including branding, product positioning, and market penetration plans.
    • Lead the generation and deployment of new and creative marketing solutions, constantly seeking ways to disrupt the market positively and leveraging on the global and regional product portfolio.

    Campaign Management:

    • Plan and execute innovative marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, events, and traditional advertising, relevant to the Austral African market.
    • Monitor campaign performance, analyse data, and adjust to optimize results.

    Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Establish and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders, including SA marketing and R&D teams, division and corporate functions
    • Establish and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, including local partners, customers, and media agencies.

    Team Leadership and Culture:

    • Lead and mentor the local marketing team, encouraging a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
    • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, promoting creative thinking and new ideas. Ensure that behaviours are aligned with our corporate core values of Engagement, Ambition and Simplicity.

    Budget Management:
