    Internal Audit Manager

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, Africa Region, you will participate in financial, operational, enterprise risk, ESG and other audits, under the lead of a Senior Internal Audit manager. This includes reviewing and providing advice on the adequacy and effectiveness of the control framework and control environment, as well as on the controls over financial reporting, investments and asset safeguarding across all the businesses in the Group.

    In the planning phase, you will perform a risk assessment and prepare an audit program and an internal control questionnaire. During fieldwork, you will carry responsibility for one or several areas of the audit, perform interviews and document the outcomes. Together with the Lead Auditor, you will present the findings at the closing meeting

    WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

    • Minimum 7 – 10 years' relevant experience in Internal Auditing
    • Professional accounting or audit qualification such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) highly preferable
    • Exposure to similar, capital-intensive industries, e.g., oil & gas, shipping, mining, construction, automotive, freight forwarding etc. would be an advantage
    • Ability to perform data analysis to support your findings, using MS Excel or more advanced tools
    • Ability to grasp the big picture and zoom in to the details based on risk assessments in order to consistently deliver quality output within agreed deadlines
    • Excellent command of written and spoken English is a pre-requisite and should also be evident through good report writing skills
    • Willingness to travel locally and internationally for business requirements up to 60 - 70 days of the year

    Local Client Manager - Automotive

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Client strategy and planning:

    • Manage and develop the relationship with the contractual customer in line with Maersk/global strategy
    • Develop the value proposition to match the customers needs both locally and by engaging the network
    • Work closely with local product organization to grow and deliver revenue growth supporting the local product P&L
    • Develop business plan for increasing overall supply chain share of wallet and position Logistics & Services products
    • Grow presence across products through new opportunities and with the customers extended supply chain

    Responsible for Customer Satisfaction:

    • Support the overall customer experience and increasing customer satisfaction

    Deliver client profitability as per budget:

    • Ensure successful business onboarding and contract compliance

    Customer Relationship:

    • Position Maersk towards the local influencers of the global tender success and towards local decision makers on country relevant products

    WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

    Someone with:

    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Key Account Management or Business Development role within Logistics/Supply Chain
    • Relevant Automotive industry experience preferrable
    • High-level product understanding including how it solves customer pain points
    • Insight selling, stakeholder management and strategic influencing skills
    • Ability to identify opportunities to add value to the client’s supply chain and sell solutions
    • Ability to interpret data to optimize client’s supply chain
    • Ensure required monthly, quarterly and annual targets are met

    Area Product Manager

    Job Purpose/ Summary:

The Area L&S Product Manager will play a crucial role in driving the organization's growth and profitability by creating and implementing customer-focused products and solutions within SAI.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Develop Area Strategy and Pricing for Local Services

    • Develop and implement the Area strategy and pricing for Local Services, aligning with global product strategic guidelines.
    • Anticipate future product performance delivery and factor this into overall pricing strategy decisions.
    • Translate the global/regional strategy into a local plan to foster product growth and meet customer needs.
    • Ensure compliance with global governance in the Area pricing process.

    Innovation

    • Drive local innovation, including the development of products and profit and loss (P&L) ownership.
    • Develop and monitor Area product targets, collaborating with the Area Managing Director for approval.
    • Support sales management in establishing value propositions.
    • Manage product performance in the area, ensuring targets are met.

    Manage Area product development and local investment cases

    • Collaborate with procurement to establish contracts with key 3rd party vendors.
    • Optimize local products through day-to-day asset and 3rd party management.
    • Develop local products in terms of corridors and features.
    • Facilitate the implementation of global/regional solutions in the area by providing or developing relevant Local Services products upon request.
    • Establish business cases for asset investments supporting local and global Logistics & Services (L&S) strategy and be accountable for realising the benefits of such business cases.

    Liaise with Operations

    • Grow L&S and bring products to the desired stage.
    • Ensure close collaboration with Operations to meet targets, Net Promoter Score (NPS), and enforce necessary controls for business execution (financially, operationally, and in terms of Health, Safety, Security, and Environment - HSSE).

    Balance Sheet

    • Collaborate with the Area Finance Manager to manage balance sheets for assets owned in the Area.

    Establish Team with Local Services Expertise

    • Build and develop a team with strong logistics capabilities and product expertise.
    • Act as a subject matter expert, supporting Area Sales teams in large-scale pursuits, including customer visits as required.
    • Share best practices with Region and Global teams.

    Who are we looking for / Critical Qualifications / Experience

    • Relevant commercially focused degree with an advanced management qualification would be preferable.
    • Proven executive level experience in logistics and services management within a large, preferably global, matrix structure.
    • Local Services expertise and understanding of local customer needs for Local Services.
    • Experience in holding responsibility for the P&L of a sizeable business.
    • Financial acumen and experience managing balance sheets.
    • Strong strategic planning and execution skills.
    • Ability to identify customer pain points using qualitative and quantitate data.
    • Customer focused with excellent attention to detail and drive to serve customers.
    • Excellent leadership and team-building capabilities.
    • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
    • In-depth knowledge of global logistics trends and industry best practices.
