    Procurement Buyer

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Management of Procurement for their categories globally.
    • Leads the negotiations of procured materials and services to assure optimal TCO (Cost, Quality, Delivery, Innovation) achieved.
    • Develops and implements strategies to assure lowest overall cost while mitigating risk to the Corporation.
    • Develops and documents in-depth knowledge of markets, supply chain, and suppliers. Assists with make vs. buy decisions.
    • Conduct formal presentations as well as coordinate & conduct supplier reviews.
    • Participates in the planning and forecasting process to establish standard costs and provide explanations for price variances at Division level.
    • Promotes high level of customer satisfaction in supporting the needs of Divisional projects & requirements for Purchasing guidance & leadership.
    • Lead cross functional teams to meet project objectives.

    CANDIDATE PROFILE

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Accounting or applicable field of study required.
    • 6+ years in Purchasing/Supply Chain environment with appropriate business experience.
    • 4+ years project management, execution of or participation in large, multiple or cross-functional projects.
    • Thorough knowledge of industries for assigned categories.
    • Technical awareness in assigned categories.
    • Systems capabilities to maximize supplier performance and negotiating leverage.
    • Ability to deal with diverse and sometimes conflicting priorities.
    • Sound and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills are required to exchange complicated information.

    Materials Planner

    As a Materials Planner you will:

    • Initiate and co-ordinate action plans to manage materials shortages.
    • Satisfactory completion of shortage reports as per communicated deadline.
    • Expedite material as per SAP recommendations to support business requirements timeously.
    • Ensure maintenance of SAP relevant parameters as regulated by management.
    • Propose and evaluate continuous improvements and cost reduction initiatives.
    • Provide material schedules to all suppliers on a frequency determined by the business.
    • Minimize or eliminate excess inventory.
    • Proactively eliminate Slow-moving and Obsolete stock (SLOB)

    To be successful in this role you should:

    • 5 years in a supply chain role working with suppliers and sound understanding of FMCG company environment.

    Health and Safety Manager

    As a HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGER you will:

    • Provide leadership, coaching & oversight for Site Safety, Health & Environmental governance, policy, training & reporting, ensuring legal & Corporate compliance, SHE budgetary control, risk management & reduction. Provides insight and actively challenges/coaches leadership team on decisions.
    • Insure Site execution of SHE management systems. This should include regional participation for maintaining, auditing, risk identification, sharing of corrective actions for continuous improvement and incident prevention to enable leading SHE performance in incident avoidance & reduction.
    • Develop, lead, & coordinate short, medium, longterm activities and preventative strategies/programs to enhance the SHE culture, wellbeing & engagement for site
    • Provide advice and support for incident investigation, analysis and followup. Analyse accident/ incident pattern. Translating SHE data and losses into actionable insights. Review, coordinate & share learning from incidents with teams, individuals & stake holders.
    • Sets, monitors and reports on SHE leading and lagging KPI’s.
    • Chair Site SHE team meetings and conduct periodical management reviews. Site SHE Pillar lead, deliver site actions to drive Purpose Led Performance as champion for PLP for Planet.

    CANDIDATE PROFILE:

    • Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Management.
    • 5 years experience in similar role.
    • Country recognised Safety, Environmental qualification, e.g. NEBOSH, CIEH, IEMA.
    • Cross functional team player and able to operate effectively within a matrix structure.

    Supply Chain Finance Business Partner

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Independently, be able to research, link to root cause drivers, explain and suggest corrective action for financial variances between current results, prior year, forecast and budget. Distinguish and quantify volume and rate impact in analysis, and, independently, communicate analysis to senior local and regional management.
    • Without direction, differentiate material versus immaterial variances, analyse and reconcile balances on the income statement and balance sheet, as applicable, identifying the pertinent focus areas and communicate, effectively and clearly, to local and regional management. Understand the progression of variances through the balance sheet to the income statement. Understand the key ratios as applicable (e.g. ITO, DSO, DPO, CTC, EVA and McCormick Profit) and the components that comprise each metric.
    • Maintains an effective control environment and SOX compliance. Able to identify areas of potential control weakness, suggest and implement solutions to minimize risk.
    • Planning, identifying, gathering and organizing data to create forward looking financial information for multiple segments of the local business, with a detail knowledge of the basis used to create the information including the sources, methods, activities and drivers used and understanding the financial planning processes (budgeting and forecasting activities and strategic plan, as applicable). Detailed knowledge of how the information fits in with the local business units as well as the business unit’s impact on the Company.
    • Providing financial support for the evaluation of an identified opportunity or issue (e.g. CCI initiative, investment return, balancing cost with performance and impact of operational decisions).
    • Acting as Business Partner to Procurement and Commercial teams helping achieve targets on Sourcing x Functional CCI, Cash Release, and Supporting Pricing negotiations with Customers. Implement and streamline process of Hidden FX management. Drive, improve and own PPV reporting and analysis throughout Actuals, Forecasts and Budget (TM1/SAP). Implement and conduct regular PPV SOX Controls using as basis current process being performed in other countries of EMEA Region. Support Procurement teams in potential claims with suppliers.

    CANDIDATE PROFILE

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance
    • Previous supply chain experience.
    • Demonstrate knowledge of ABC (activity based costings)
    • 8+ years of experience in accounting and financial analysis is required.  
    • Experience in manufacturing environment is required.
    • Experience of Finance Business Partnering in previous roles.
    • Personal leadership skills, with proven ability to build, influence and sustain relationships at all levels of the organisation.
    • Working knowledge of a fully integrated financial/ERP system essential (SAP preferred).
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Able to handle complexity and achieve results.
    • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Advanced Excel skills.
