    Enterprise Architect / Vulnerability Management Specialist (2024_17) KG

    KEY WORK OUTPUTS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Provide domain and subject matter expertise in vulnerability and patch management.
    • Design, develop, review, and maintain a comprehensive patch management strategy and practice for the overall IT operations environment, considering security, operational, and business requirements.
    • Conduct regular patch management and vulnerability assessments to identify potential security risks and prioritise patching based on criticality, urgency, and impact. Such assessment should cover all layers of enterprise infrastructure, endpoints, server hardware, operating systems, and applications.
    • Collaborate with the security team to evaluate the risk associated with unpatched vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
    • Review and coordinate the deployment of patches, updates, and security fixes across all systems, applications, and infrastructure.
    • Establish and/or enhance a standardised thorough testing process to verify the compatibility and stability of patches before deployment to production environments.
    • Work with infrastructure, application, security, and BU IT teams to schedule and implement patching activities with minimal impact on business operations.
    • Prepare detailed reports, metrics, and insights on patch compliance, analyse vulnerability remediation progress, and system performance to management and stakeholders. Regularly communicate the progress of patch management initiatives to senior leadership.
    • Analyse threats, vulnerability feeds, patch management gaps and propose continuous improvement / remediation plans.

    KEY DIMENSIONS (SIZE, BUDGETS, ADDITIONAL KPIs etc.)

    • The incumbent will be expected to manage an entire project (SDLC), meeting with stakeholders, providing critical input for business decisions, delegate tasks to team members, providing effective cooperative development (JAD). This might require travelling for meetings and workshops as the company landscape is vast.

    QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • An undergraduate qualification (Bachelor's degree or equivalent) in the relevant IM discipline and/or Technical competencies and certification with relevant years of experience in a similar role.

    EXPERIENCE

    • At least 10 years of experience in Information Technology Operations, Engineering and/or IT Security function.
    • 5 or more years of proven experience in IT patch management, vulnerability remediation, patch deployment experience, or a similar role.
    • Proven track record in developing and implementing a vulnerability and patch management program utilising a Vulnerability and Patch Management Framework.
    • Demonstrated knowledge in systems vulnerability management and system hardening to mitigate Common Vulnerability
    • Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools (Qualys, Nessus, etc.) and techniques

    Unified Endpoint Management Technical Specialist

    Description

    • Daily monitoring and resolution of IT Service Management (ITSM) VIP and end-user support requests.
    • Be responsible for the verification, planning and actioning of maintenance tasks together with other infrastructure teams.

    IT Data Governance Lead (CDPM/DAMA) Hybrid Contract (TB)

    Description

    • The Data Governance Lead is responsible for ensuring the effective working of the data governance structures across the division.
    • Collaborate closely with business and IT stakeholders in order to gather their data governance requirements, to understand their data, their (Meta) data needs and business context.
    • Workout the enterprise data governance strategy and roadmap, aligned with the Chief Data Officer.
    • Develop and implement data governance framework, policies, data governance standards, data protection standards and adoption requirements across the enterprise conform the data governance roadmap.
    • Monitor and control the data governance framework, policy and standards.
    • Ensure compliance with data related policies, standards, roles and responsibilities defined by regulator (POPIA, GDPR).     Minimum Requirements

    Requirements and experience required:

    • Matric plus IT Degree / IT Diploma (Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or equivalent qualification preferred).
    • CDPM certification.
    • Data governance or management certification.
    • 5 years’ experience in IT and with at least 5 years exposure to Data Governance or Data Quality (SAP, BI, Microsoft etc.)
    • DAMA Framework experience.
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).

    Essential skills and knowledge required:

    • Deep knowledge and expertise of enterprise data governance framework, policy and standards.
    • Good understanding of business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets.
    • Thought industry knowledge on data management related government regulatory requirements (GDPR, POPIA).
    • Broad knowledge and deep practical experience with data quality, data lineage, data security, data privacy, data lifecycle management, data issue remediation and other data-governance practices.

    Business Analyst – Test Management (Expert) TT 2790

    Description

    • Assists in establishing, implementation and steering of overall test management strategy from a business perspective across all financial accounting products (both manual and automated test strategy).
    • Build effective relationships with senior stakeholders across the programme supporting the testing activities.
    • Establishes the capability of test automation from a business perspective for end-to-end processes across multiple accounting products, projects, and initiatives for several company codes within Tosca.
