Duties:

Reporting directly to the Manager Technical Services, the incumbent will perform the following duties:

• Manage the implementa on and smooth running of maintenance and infrastructure programs Manage the maintenance of municipal road networks
• Plans in respect of maintaining synergy between the outputs of the roads & stormwater services and associated organizational functions Provide project engineering services within the division
• Manage the modelling of operating designs for the municipality Manage human resources Manage the budget of the division

Requirements:

• Grade 12 plus B.Degree / BTech in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• 5 years relevant experience which 3 years must be at supervisory level Registration as a Professional Engineer will be an added advantage Valid Drivers' Licence

Duties:

Reporting directly to the Deputy CFO, the incumbent will perform the following duties:

• Responsible for overseeing the en re accounts receivable, collections, and credit control section
• Implement and enforce credit control policy Nego ate and monitor payment agreements Analyse debtors' book and direct debit management staff in order to ensure clean debtors' book Manage aged debt and implement recovery strategy Maximise revenue by meously collecting debt owed to the municipality Handing over accounts older than 90 days to external debt collectors 
• Manage the applica on of indigent subsidies for consumers unable to pay Manage a team of credit controllers and debt collectors

Requirements:

• Grade 12 plus a Bachelor's Degree in Financial Management / Accounting or equivalent (NQF 7)
• A postgraduate qualification in Finance or equivalent (NQF 8) will be an added advantage 5 years' experience of which 3 years must be supervisory capacity
• Must have completed Municipal Finance Management Programme Valid driver's license
