You will be responsible for the following:

• Digital Transformation Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive digital transformation strategy for the factory site's supply chain. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key pain points, opportunities, and potential digital solutions to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
• Process Optimization: Analyze existing supply chain processes and identify areas for improvement. Implement digital technologies such as IoT, AI, automation, and data analytics to optimize production, inventory management, and logistics operations.
• Smart Manufacturing Implementation: Lead the implementation of smart manufacturing technologies and Industry 4.0 concepts within the factory site. (Implementing integrated digital factory. Converting paper (manual work) into digital processes and applications. Moving from analog to 4.0 Industry, ensuring efficiency with technology
• Ensure seamless integration of digital tools and systems to create a connected and data-driven production environment.
• Digital Maturity Assessments: Lead Digital Maturity Assessments on site as part of the BU agenda to get a snapshot of the current mapping of digital maturity in conjunction with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Drive Digital Culture: Champion the use of data and digital within the plant and drive adoption of tools like Solvace, Shoplogix, IQS (standard tools) and drive completion of Digital related trainings.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including production managers, logistics teams, and IT experts, to ensure smooth adoption and integration of digital solutions. Facilitate knowledge sharing and provide necessary training to enhance digital literacy within the factory site.
• Internal and External Benchmarking: Monitor the performance of implemented digital solutions and continuously seek opportunities for refinement and enhancement. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
• Drive Regional and Global Agenda: Interface with the BU MSC Digital lead and regional/global teams and drive the agenda and priorities of the plant.

Education / Certifications and Skills and Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, and or a related field. Post-graduate qualification would be advantageous
• Proven experience in leading digital transformation initiatives within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
• Strong understanding of smart manufacturing technologies, Industry 4.0 concepts, and digital supply chain solutions
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to positively influence decision making.
• Demonstrated ability to introduce cost-effective innovation in program delivery.
• Proven ability in building capability amongst teams (internal & external partners).
• Data driven, strong collaborator and storyteller.

• TECHNICAL EXPERTISE in accounting and external reporting (AER) including a deep understanding of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, close processes and financial reporting systems. General knowledge in complex technical accounting such as treatment of FX, derivatives, employee compensation and pension plans. Expertise in policy, controls and compliance design including SOX reporting. General knowledge of tax laws and indirect and direct tax
• BUSINESS ACUMEN and understanding of our business and finance beyond the AER scope. Big Four accounting firm experience preferred
• LEADERSHIP SKILLS including proven business partnering and communication skills across a large global, public company. Experience working as a global finance leader managing global, cross-functional and business partner teams to drive timely and accurate results
• GROWTH/DIGITAL MINDSET and the ability to identify strategic opportunities and leverage technology to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
• INTEGRITY and sound judgement in all decisions and interactions aligned with Mondelēz International values and policies and external regulations.

What you need to know about this position:

• Manage all accounting and external reporting matters for your assigned country, including ensuring accurate and timely U.S. GAAP reporting and the timeliness and integrity of statutory financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and KPIs. You will also provide insights into balance sheet movements and cash flow and ensure account reconciliations, payroll reporting, intercompany charges, fixed assets, and restructuring are signed off for your assigned country.
• Contribute to a strong controls and compliance environment in the country and ensure full compliance with our AER policies.
• You will act as our primary contact with our external auditor for the country.
• You will also manage compliance on indirect taxes across the assigned entities.
• Address complex accounting topics in coordination with the Business Unit or Region Controller and ensure timely adoption of all U.S. GAAP Accounting Standards in the country.
• You will also support the business on policy interpretation for changes in process or M&A activity.
• Drive for harmonization, efficiencies and improvements to ways of working on AER processes and systems such as SAP and build a mindset of continuous improvement in the country team.
• Build a high-performing Accounting and External Reporting (AER) team (Mondelēz International employees and actively manage the relationship with Mondelēz International Digital Services/third party providers).
• Recruit and develop talent and drive our AER talent agenda in the country.

Education / Certifications:

• University degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics (required).CA/ ACCA / CIMA (advantageous)

Job specific requirements:

• Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in accounting and controlling having worked in a similar environment / role for at least 12 months
• FMCG Experience advantageous
• SAP Experience preferred
• Proven ability to manage / lead and collaborate with cross functional teams
