Job Description

• We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer responsible for building C# applications, including anything from back-end services to their client-end counterparts. Your primary responsibilities will be to design and develop these applications, to integrate AI/ML components into our core services, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.
• AI-Augmented Requirements: Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications by leveraging GenAI for story refinement, technical task breakdown, and automated documentation.
• High-Performance Engineering: Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code, utilizing agentic code-generation tools to accelerate development while maintaining strict human-in-the-loop oversight for security and logic.
• System Optimization: Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, devising solutions through a mix of traditional debugging and AI-powered diagnostic agents.
• Agent & Skill Development: Architect and build custom AI Skills and autonomous Agents that integrate into the core application logic to solve complex data processing or decision-making tasks.
• Lifecycle Contribution: Contribute to all phases of the SDLC, from initial ideation to automated testing, using AI to generate comprehensive test suites and edge-case scenarios.
• Architectural Integration: Collaborate with software engineers to ensure AI components and agents are seamlessly integrated into our microservices architecture and meet required service-level objectives (SLOs).

Basic Requirements

• Fluent English.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with C# and its surrounding ecosystem.
• Practical experience with Agentic Workflows for autonomous code and skill creation.
• Practical experience with SDLC Automation using AI-driven tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code etc.)
• Practical experience with Code Quality tools and auditing AI-generated logic for security.
• Practical experience with Cloud DevOps and CI/CD
• Practical experience with Microservices Architecture and RESTful API design.
• Practical experience with containerization technologies, specifically Docker.
• Practical experience with Cloud, and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of message queuing.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous processing, with knowledge of concurrency patterns
• Strong understanding of design and architectural patterns.
• Familiarity with Domain Driven Design and Event Sourcing 
• Ability to take the initiative and work independently, yet function as an integral part of a team.

Bonus points for experience with:

• Experience deploying models via Azure OpenAI or similar cloud AI services.
• Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) tasks, such as data extraction, classification, and normalization.
• Familiarity with Python and common AI/ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face).
• Experience with pipeline architecture.
• Experience with Azure API Management, Azure Serverless Functions, Event Hubs, Service Bus, Application Insights, Cosmos DB.
• Experience with Azure IoT and/or managing an IoT device platform.
• Experience in 9-1-1 industry.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD.
• Experience with computer networking.
• Experience with complex regular expressions.

Basic Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in Test Analysis with a dedicated focus on API testing
• Advanced English Proficiency (Written and verbal)
• 2+ years of professional experience in development using C# or other object-oriented programming languages
• Experience in designing, developing, and automating API test cases using industry-standard tools like Postman, SoapUI, or RESTful services
• Proven ability to work within an Agile and Scrum environment
• Experience using Git for version control

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Haves)

• Exposure to Security testing, including authorization vulnerabilities and sensitive data exposure
• Knowledge of Load and Performance tools such as k6, JMeter, or Gatling
• Experience with Azure DevOps for Test Management and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) environments
• Certifications such as ISTQB Foundation Level, Agile Testing, or Advanced Test Analyst
• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

Job Description

• The Field Engineer Intern/Graduate role is designed for a post-studies, pre-career individual to join multi-disciplined project teams and focus on supporting mission-critical voice and data systems for the Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) region. The role's entry-level scope is intended to start with radio repair for training before gradually moving into field services. This position is critical for supporting Motorola digital radio communication systems in the region.

Key Responsibilities

• As an entry-level engineer, you will focus on smaller projects or elements of larger system deployments, ensuring the delivery of managed services to our customers.

• Provide technical support for the deployment of projects.
• Proactively work to detect and resolve deviations from the design in a timely manner.
• Develop and/or execute test strategies and plans to ensure solutions work as designed and requirements are fulfilled.

Education and Technical Qualifications

• Required Degree: A BSc or similar degree as a Graduate engineer from an accredited college or university.
• Discipline: A Degree, H.N.C, or equivalent in a Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering, or related discipline is required.
• Background: Strong foundation and background in communications solutions, applications, and architectures.

Essential Knowledge and Skills

• In-depth understanding of Public Safety applications and solutions.
• Good communication skills and the confidence required to present solutions to customers and users.
• Familiarity with complex project integration, including interface definition, IP, and Transmission design/implementation.
• Experience of a technical environment typically associated with an undergraduate degree in a technical field.
