Job Description

• Managing and overseeing Legal support for Nokia’s Southern Africa (SAV) Market Unit (approx. 10 countries) within Nokia's Middle East and Africa region
• Managing a contract manager for the Market Unit while reporting to the Head of Legal & Compliance for Middle East and Africa region
• Being an active part of the SAV Market Unit Leadership Team, providing legal advice and counseling to Nokia's Customer Operations
• Advising on regulatory and compliance matters
• Oversee litigations, providing legal guidance relating to the formulation and implementation of company strategies and policies
• Supporting Nokia’s Networks business overall in the Southern Africa region.
• Analysis , negotiation and validation of Offer & Contract, working on tenders, statements of compliance, contract negotiation, in close cooperation with sales and customer team supporting the tendering phase,in a manner to provide advice and minimizing the legal risk
• Provide legal support on post customer contract for threaten, possible or envisaged claims, disputes and litigations and contract interpretation and interlock withLegal Specialists;
• Supports the Ethics and Compliance team in all relevant tasks

Responsible for definition and execution of demos, proof of concept, type approvals tests, field trials, and in general any New Product Introduction (NPI) activity with our customer for any new product or solution.
Accountable from definition to validation / acceptance by the customer - working with mature elements of our portfolio.
Key Responsibilities

• In charge of demonstrating from the definition to the validation, working with the Solution Architect to develop a test environment, preparation and execution. Attending to dynamic requirements and assesses the test results.
• Verifies and validates inter-operation of products Develops test cases, executes tests plan, write fault reports on the basis of troubleshooting and reports results.
• Validates the solution within customer´s environment to ensure all the customer requirements are covered, establishing the basis to get the final acceptance from the customer.
• Maintains high level of customer satisfaction by assessing compliance to customer requirements in test results. Develops and maintain technical relationship with the customer to gain trust.
• Provides all the inputs required for project documentation Test Objective, Tests plan and tests results, including environment specifications.
• Works with the TPM to guarantee the right knowledge transfer and the Handover to the rest of the teams (NI, CTS, FF)
• Identify Technical skill gaps of other organization involved in the project, and perform workshop/OJT if required,
• Reviews and approves Methods of Procedures prior to implementation.
• The position requires strong technical skills in the following areas
• Deep understanding of 3GPP GSM, GPRS/UMTS/HSPA and LTE core network circuit and packet architecture and call flows (preferred)
• Packect Core, evolved Packet Core( S/PGW, MME, SGSN, GGSN) (preferred)
• Virtual and Cloud EPC solutions on Openstack, Vmware (preferred)
• Openstack, VmWare Knowledge at intermediate level.(preferred)
• Experience with HLR/HSS and SMS service, protocols and operations(optional)
• Hands-on experience with system and network configuration is a must.
