    Accounting Consultant (Freelance)

    Job Description

    • Are you a qualified CA(SA), AGA, SAIPA, or CIMA professional with 3 to 5 years experience in accounting? Are you looking for flexible, project-based work where you can leverage your expertise in accounting, compliance, and client service?
    • We are looking for freelance Accounting Consultants to support our clients with accounting, tax compliance, and advisory services.

    Job responsibilities will include, among other things:
    Client Accounting & Tax Compliance

    • Process bank statements, supplier and customer bills, fixed assets, and other accounting tasks
    • Ensure SARS compliance, including VAT reconciliations, tax calculations, and submissions
    • Compile management reports and annual financial statements
    • Prepare working papers for independent review engagements
    • Conduct and review monthly accounting to ensure accurate financial statements
    • Assist with payroll processing (EMP201, EMP501, COIDA/WCA submissions)
    • Engage with clients, build relationships, and provide financial advisory support

    Client Support & Advisory

    • Assist with client budget preparation
    • Provide secretarial services, including annual returns, company year-end changes, and board resolutions

    Client Administration & Planning

    • Maintain accurate client records in the CRM
    • Assist with clients onboarding and offboarding
    • Prepare client proposals and project scopes
    • Manage your own schedule and workload while meeting client deadlines

    Requirements

    • The ideal candidate for this position will hold a CA(SA), AGA, SAIPA or CIMA or similar professional qualifications.  They will have 3 to 5 years' experience in accounting.

    Job Description

    • We are recruiting on behalf of our client, for a Digital Marketing & Campaign Specialist based in Cape Town, Montague Gardens. Our client is a leading online distributor known as the go-to destination for South Africa’s most reputable electronics brands at the best prices.
    • In this role, you’ll take the lead on planning, creating, and executing digital marketing campaigns across multiple premium brands. You’ll work closely with our internal team and external partners to deliver engaging content, drive brand visibility, and support overall business growth through strategic, results-driven campaigns.
    • We are looking for someone with a passion for marketing who is not only skilled but also motivated to take initiative, up-skill themselves, and constantly explore new and innovative approaches to content creation, storytelling, and campaign execution.

    • Confident using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite) to track performance and report insights.
    • Familiarity with SEO and how it applies to content strategy.
    • Experience with e-commerce platforms like Shopify or Zoho E-Commerce.
    • Proficiency in Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
    • Comfortable working with influencers and coordinating content collaborations.

    Accounts Administrator

    Job Description

    • Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Administrator to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone from a private sector background who has completed their trainee articles and is ready to take the next step in their accounting career. The position offers exposure to more complex transactions, with a strong focus on quality over volume. There's excellent room for growth and development within the team.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform daily reconciliations, initially focused on the Debtors' side, expanding to Group responsibilities
    • Manage cashbooks and assist with banking entries for the Group
    • Process and scan invoices and expenses, ensuring accurate record keeping
    • Regularly check and respond to emails, supporting smooth finance operations
    • Handle general administrative duties, including forms, filing and basic PA support
    • Support accurate month-end processes and contribute to maintaining financial controls

    Requirements
    Skills & Experience

    • Experience with bank and account reconciliations, with strong logical balancing ability
    • Solid accounting knowledge up to Trial Balance level
    • Strong administrative and organizational skills
    • Completed trainee articles
    • Proficiency in Pastel Evolution (advantageous) and Xero
    • Ability to work independently and help establish or improve systems and processes in a structured, detail-driven environment
