    General Worker: Loader

    Job Description    

    • Premier Mthatha Bakery is currently looking for a Loader to join their team. This position will be reporting to the Despatch Supervisor, with the responsibility of loading and offload bread on site. This is a 6-day position and if you meet the below requirements, then we are looking for you.

    Qualification Requirements    

    • Matric

    Experience Requirements    

    • Offload and loading bread according to offloads/ loading SOP
    • Follow pipeline loading/offloading sequence
    • Tray count and balancing of trays in a truck
    • Attend daily invocoms
    • Ensure that quality bread is loaded / offloaded
    • Ensure a correct stock rotation (FIFO)
    • Report back on loading /offloading related matters to offloads supervisors
    • Ensure compliance with company policy and procedures
    • At least 3 months’ experience in a similar position in the FMCG industry

    Value Chain Clerk

    Job Description    
    Purpose of the job: Perform value chain clerical processes to maintain sufficient control of stock, Food safety and health and Safety administrative duties to ensure all training and files are up to date and ensure time and attendance is managed daily

     Value chain controls, checks and balancing

    •  Stock control (raw materials, packing materials, WIP)
    •  Capturing of stock orders in system after approval from Site Accountant
    •  Re-works, Sweeping and waste Recon
    •  Back up for daily Production statement capturing
    •  Stock & Production Variance investigations
    •  Balancing of stock locations
    •  GRV of Extrusion stock orders (Consignment stock) / Raw Materials / Packaging Materials / Oil
    •  Assist with training on Health & Safety, Food Safety and SOP’s ensuring files are up to date
    •  Time and attendance: timesheets, rosters, leave

    Qualification Requirements    

    •  Matric / Grade 12
    •  Relevant Qualification (BCom degree will be and advantage)

    Experience Requirements    

    •  3 – 5 years’ experience as a value chain clerk
    •  Knowledge of stock control

    Sales Operations Supervisor

    Job Description

    A career opportunity has arisen in the Admin Department- Premier Bakeries Depot- Rustenburg. This position is responsible for:

    •  Ensuring that Drivers and Vehicles are allocated correctly to enable daily route monitoring, driver debriefing and reporting on the planned vs. actual route adherence.
    •  Daily Route Management of bakery delivery vehicles.
    •  Analyse & report on operational and customer service trends.
    •  Ensuring all systems supporting DRM are functional, e.g. (Vigil & Mix Telematics)
    •  Responsible for DRM System reporting to management of daily, weekly and monthly KPI’s hit rates, departure times, excess kilometres, unplanned routes and kilometres.
    •  Controlling driver shortages
    •  Controlling outstanding crates
    •  Overall management of drivers and sales assistants

    Qualification Requirements    

    •  Matric or equivalent
    •  Computer Literate.
    •  Geographic Information Systems.
    •  Advanced Excel user.

    Experience Requirements    

    •  Min 3 years Sales Supervisory experience, with a strong emphasis on Customer Service Execution in an FMCG environment.
    •  Route Planning systems, an advantage.
    •  Working knowledge of Geospatial data (Spatial Data).
    •  Routing and Distribution Optimization.
    •  Working knowledge of vehicle telematics technology & software.
    •  People management – experience with working with people at all levels of the organization.
