    Digital Media Strategist

    A Digital Media strategist is responsible for managing digital media strategy and implementation on an account or portfolio of accounts.

    They are also responsible for ensuring client satisfaction through delivery of appropriate strategies, excellent service and all media objectives.
    SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • A digital media strategist with a minimum of 4 years digital experience.
    • Ability to manage the team of digital strategists/project managers/campaign managers.
    • Ability to deal at a senior level with clients

    JOB FUNCTIONS

    •       Establish the overall strategic digital media approach and the overall media planning for the account/portfolio.
    •        Approve the key digital strategic elements of media plans and through internal briefings and inter-functional communication, monitors the implementation process to ensure delivery against business objectives
    •        Work with outside agencies, including but not limited to those such as creative, social media, search and PR partners and client marketing teams to establish media goals, objectives and strategies and provide leadership when necessary in developing, negotiating and implementing creative media solutions.
    •        Develop and maintain senior client relationships, attend, present and provide counsel at all significant agency-client media meetings.
    •        Play a key role in monitoring profitability including looking for growth potential within existing account and aid in related accountability and billing.
    •        Responsible for overseeing the implementation of all components of the media plan and ensure all media deliverables are met on time and within budget for all agency’s clients.
    •        Constructively negotiating with suppliers and other external partners to secure optimal campaigns across multiple platforms and maintain effective, collaborative business relationships in the best long-term interests of the agency.
    •        Proactively identifying new opportunities and new modes of digital media that offer a strategic advantage to the account/portfolio.
    •        Recruit, develop, motivate, direct, manage, monitor, evaluate, mentor and support the digital team on the account/portfolio as required to fulfil clients’ requirements. Discipline if necessary.

    Position Overview

    Technical /Digital Project Manager

    Reporting into an Account Director, the Technical Project Manager will fulfill the role of key technical contact, managing project life-cycles through the entire agency process.
    Responsibilities for the Technical Project Manager Role

    Client Management

    •  Responsible for delivery of the client scope on time, on budget and to the necessary quality
    •  standards.
    •  Responsible for the positive resolution of operational challenges.
    •  Maintaining regular interaction with the client and internal agency team.

    Materials Fulfilment

    •  Management and operation of the client portal development.
    •  Managing partner technical agency to develop appropriate proposals and solutions.
    •  Liaising with other external agencies on project as required.
    • Fulfilment of production, briefing the relevant internal personnel and liaising with the client.
    •  Managing external resources.
    •  Operation and understanding of online systems and thorough understanding of relevant Client systems.
    •  Ensuring that a full audit trail is recorded on all projects.
    •  Check, QC, UAT and sign off every output.

    Systems, Processes and Training

    •  System specification, implementation and review.
    •  Managing client system users if required.
    •  Providing detailed training to users, including the generation and production of training materials.
    •  Booking every job in via our online workflow tool.
    •  Adhering to and implementing agency process.
    •  Facilitating scrums, detailed reports and status meetings.
    •  Continuously seeking opportunities to streamline and improve systems where appropriate.
    •  Processing purchase orders and knowledge of Chase would be beneficial.

    Requirements

    You possess good technical project management experience; have strong numeric, verbal and written communication skills and you work well as either a member of a team or as an individual.
    In addition you have a complete understanding of digital workflow tools and how they interact with the agency process, the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines, with effective budget control and the ability to think laterally and strategically.
    You also have the ability to negotiate and influence clients, agencies and suppliers, build strong working relationships and reconcile immediate commercial needs and deal with conflicts to resolution.
