    Creditors / Debtors Clerk - Rola VW Malmesbury

    • Rola is a leading motor group who pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence and innovation.  We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Creditors / Debtors Clerk to join our finance team to be based at our VW Malmbesbury dealership. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and monitoring the accounts payable process, ensuring timely payment and maintaining accurate financial records and reporting.

    Salary Structure:

    • Basic Monthly Salary

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Proven experience as a Creditors/Debtors Clerk, preferably within the motor industry.
    • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and best practices.
    • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Clear criminal record

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    • Verify and process all creditor/debtors invoices according to company policies and procedures accurately and efficiently
    • Payment preparation & processing
    • Journal processing
    • Reconcile supplier accounts and resolve any discrepancies timeously
    • Follow up on outstanding invoices, credit notes, and unallocated payments
    • Maintain records of all transactions on supplier accounts to ensure compliance with audit and financial control procedures
    • Maintain updated supplier list and agreements
    • Process floorplan vehicle purchases and settlements
    • Trade and inter-branch vehicle stock and creditor/debtors transactions
    • Provide creditors age analysis and supplier reports as required
    • Assist with month-end closing activities and Finance Team audit preparation 
    • Reconcile petty cash & floats - Parts, Service & Driveaways
    • Monthly Reporting
    • General administrative duties

    Sales/Brand Manager - Rola Mahindra Malmesbury

    Job Advert Summary    

    • We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales/Brand Manager at our Rola Mahindra dealership in Malmesbury. The Brand Manager manages the sales business, incorporating all the dealership’s products and services.  This involves attracting and retaining a strong base of satisfied customers by ensuring that a well-motivated and dedicated sales team meets customer expectations. Simultaneously, the manager is responsibe for meeting/exceeding the financial objectives of the dealership and its principals

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Proven experience as a sales manager, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
    • At least 3 years managerial experience as a sales/brand manager
    • Knowledge of the Mahindra vehicle brand 
    • Excellent leadership and people management skills
    • Strong communication and negotiation skills
    • Fluent in Afrikaans and English
    • Ability to analyze market trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly
    • Customer-focused approach, with a commitment to providing excellent service.
    • Valid drivers licence

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    Sales Management:

    • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet sales goals and objectives
    • Conduct market research and competitor analysis
    • Develop and implement marketing initiatives
    • Manage a sales team, providing leadership and direction to achieve sales targets
    • Monitor sales performance and provide coaching and support to improve performance
    • Establish and maintain relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business
    • Conduct resource planning, management and development

    Inventory Management:

    • Oversee the acquisition, stocking, and sale of vehicles
    • Ensure that inventory is properly priced and presented to maximize sales and profit
    • Monitor market conditions and adjust pricing and marketing strategies as necessary
    • Ensure that vehicle presentations and showrooms are always up to standard

    Customer Service:

    • Ensure that customers receive exceptional service throughout the sales process
    • Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business

    Financial Management:

    • Manage the sales budget and ensure that expenses are controlled within established limits
    • Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as necessary to achieve financial goals
    • Accept responsibility for all relevant sales management reporting (including to manufacturer)
